| Recent Review: | | I LIKE IT HERE IT IS QUIET AND MY NEIGHBORS ARE NICE.MANAGEMENT IS NICE HOWEVER SOMETIMES IT IS HARD TO REACH THEM OVER THE PHONE. I HAVE A FEW GADGETS IN MY HOME THAT HAVE NOT WORKED SINCE I'VE BEEN HERE SUCH AS... A COUPLE OF ELECTRICAL SOCKETS,A PHONE JACK IN THE GUEST ROOM AND THERE'S A SMALL WHOLE IN THE LIVING ROOM WALL THAT WAS COVERED UP WITH SOME SORT OF FILLING AND PAINT TO KEEP THE WHOLE FROM BEING SO NOTICABLE...MANAGEMENT AT THE TIME KNEW ABOUT THESE THINGS BUT MANAGEMENT IS NOT THE SAME PEOPLE THAT WERE HERE WHEN I FIRST MOVED IN 6 MONTHS AGO. LAST BUT NOT LEAST YOU PAY THE WATER BILL WITH THE RENT AND IT IS ALWAYS $50 OR MORE FOR JUST 2 TENANTS...WE THINK THAT IS TOO MUCH WHEN MY FRIEND HAS A HOME AND SHE ONLY PAYS $10 FOR A WATER BILL PER MONTH IF NOT LESS THAN THAT(POSS. RIP OFF??)... |

| Recent Review: | | Apartment break in's, Peeping tom's (looking through windows) Water pipe burst a few times a month (no water) Heater trouble (no hot water, heat) Air Conditioner not working, Poor parking, Mice, Spiders, Roaches, Lizards (in apartment) And poor maintenance! And to top it all off OVER PRISED! It is not worth it! |

| Recent Review: | | It has been really nice to have so many new friends to come home to.When I first got here they told me that there were pet fees, but I have at least 12 to 15 mice and rats that live here and have never been charged.It's great!The manager told me that they wouldn't even make me put up a deposit for all of these little guys.I do have one complaint though, some guy that lives near me tries to keep killing all of my little friends when they run through his plumbing.I've heard him banging around in there at night, and I know a few of them have gotten clobbered as they have never come back home.It's been really sad at times.I think this is a great place to live, especially if you like animals! |

| Recent Review: | | I moved into Wisteria Park in December of 2004. That's when all the problems began. I arrived at 8 a.m. in the morning only to be turned away because the apartment was not ready and would not be until 3 p.m. that day. All of this was told to me while the management decorated a Christmas tree as if they had not a care in the world about the task at hand. I found the number for Landmark Residential, their corporate office, and spoke with someone who excused the issue saying, "Most people move into the apartments in the afternoon."Though I have never, myself, moved into a new place in the afternoon, apparently "everyone" else does. I came back that afternoon to walls that had just been painted, a wet bathroom counter that had just had a new layer of some sealant on it, cabinets and drawers that were obviously not newly renovated as promised, two leaky toilets, vertical blinds that had no rods to turn them, plug outlets that did not work in the living room and bedrooms, holes in the master bathroom cabinet, an icemaker that did not work, surfaces that had barely been clean, and much more that I am sure I am forgetting. Within the four plus months I have lived there I have had problems with the terrible management that I have never experienced at any place I have ever lived. I was unable to retrieve my mail from my mailbox for the entire first 3 weeks I lived there because they gave my roommate and I the incorrect keys. By the time we received the correct keys, our mail was piled up in the mailbox and we had to threaten them to even get to our mail saying, "We will contact the postmaster as it is a federal offense to not allow someone to have their mail." It is a good thing we weren't expecting any paychecks in the mail! A few weeks ago the water was out for the entire complex with not so much as an apology for the residents only this statement, "It'll be fixed within the hour." The gates have not been operating since I moved to Wisteria Park and I agree with another review that the management is quick to send out warnings at any time signed, "Your Friendly Wisteria Park Staff." My latest problem that has prompted me to look for an apartment review site is what happened to me this weekend. As temperatures began to rise this weekend, I noticed my air was not working. I called at around 6 p.m. and was told no one could come out after hours, and that they would send someone first thing in the morning. Sunday, 11 a.m. and still, no maintenance. I called and they said they'd send someone out. I left for the day and returned that afternoon around 4 p.m. to a still blazing hot apartment at 79 to 80 degrees inside. The answering service this time said until the outside temperature is at 80 degrees, nothing can be done. After speaking with the rude management who was so unconcerned and uncaring, they now stated that it must be 85 degrees outside in order to fix air on the weekends. I am basically sick of the management and the run-around I, and so many others, have been given. I would advise anyone who might be thinking of moving here because of move-in specials to look elsewhere and save themselves the grief and trouble that I have had to put up with! |

| Recent Review: | | Wow, what an experience!I've learned how to knife fight, shoot guns at passersby, picked up both Spanish and Ebonics, plus a whole lot more!All this, by just watching my neighbors and the staff here at Wood Gardens.It truly is like living abroad.I've had a wonderful insight into the innerworkings of a real life ghetto without having to watch it on TV.In fact, if you move here you won't be able to watch it on TV, because the moment someone hears that you own one...they'll relieve you of the burden of ownership of such a lovely device.Well, at least that happened to me 6 times.I use to have a car too.Well, I can honestly say that having this experience has changed my life forever.My doctor says the scars will never completely go away, and at some point I should be able to wear shoes again...I guess the neighbors dogfights are a "serious business".If you are into foreign travel, why leave home...the sounds, the smell, the taste in the back of your throat, and the numbing sensation of cold steel against your skin can all be found here at home in Wood Gardens.Ah, what an oasis. |
