| Recent Review: | | To make this short... I will not be re-signing a lease at these apartments. A company called Alliance took over the former Archstone community and the employees are lazy, rude, and inconsiderate. Not to mention, not at all knowledgeable. Anyone I've talked to that has lived here in the past was ripped off when they moved out. I asked for a copy of the lease after I had signed it (which I have yet to recieve) and they looked at me like I was crazy. They make up excuses when I ask for a damn rent receipt. I am disgusted. In my opinion they're a bunch of swindlers. |

| Recent Review: | | Delano Place is right in the middle of just about anywhere you'd want to go.I'm 5 minutes from downtown Scottsdale, 5 minutes from Tempe, 10 minutes from the I-17, and right by ASU (Tempe). There are only 32 units, and it has one enterance/exit.Lighting is good (there are even flourescent lights under the carport) and the pool is a safe 4.5 feet at the deepest spot, so you can enjoy the spa while the kids play. The layouts are great; there are vaulted ceilings upstairs, dishwashers, electric outlets everywhere, a huge walk in closet in my 1 bedroom (I live alone), and get this...THEY INCLUDE A WASHER/DRYER WITH THE APARTMENT!There's heat and A/C of course, as well as sliding glass and screen doors on my balcony.Rents right now are $500 for 1 bed/1 bath, and $600-$615 for 2 bed/2 bath, as well as a $199 move in special.Oh, if you've got kids, there is a school that was JUST built across the street; 1st-8th grade I believe. The area directly surrounding Delano Place isn't bad, either. There is a mostly hispanic neighborhood to the north, the new school across the street (West), and wooded land to the south. |

| Recent Review: | | This place is full of illegal aliens who seem to have some kind of understanding with the management who keep shooing them in, no questions asked.Sometimes I wonder if they're being graciously repaid for their "kindness".I'd say about 65% of the residents here don't speak English. The "management team" are two or three kids that I guess only care about the commission they receive on rentals over the quality of the community which is now full of drug dealers and total losers. There are a group of guys who just hang out at the Angela Drive entrance. They just stand there and watch as you exit and enter, obviously waiting for someone. There are also people that hang out in the parking lot, just sitting on the curb, watching everything and everyone.Lets just say it feels very UNSAFE!I hate leaving my car out in the parking lot with some shithead watching my every move.Even worse is the complex next door, which makes Desert Sunrise look like the Taj Mahal. There are creepy, dirty crawled-out-from-under-a dumpster looking people over there who love to watch you over the slight wall between complexes. They watch you get your mail, and size you up as you enter and exit the complex, which is always fun.I like to flip them off as I drive by.As far as security, the management has "hired" (ha ha) some people that live in the complex.I find this utterly ridiculous and entirely too trusting on the part of the management. These people as far as I know have no formal training in security patrol, not to mention no background checks or clearing have been done on these individuals. What a great position-- (Food for thought, here)-- You're a 20 year old punk, you don't have a job, but somehow you get in good with your apartment complex management who decides to hire you as part of their trusted 'security personnel'.You don't have any training but you can fake it, besides, when do security people actually have to do anything?Suddenly you now have a green light to case people's apartments, cars, maybe even have access to keys and personal information on tenants!!A Dream Come True!Another annoying factor is the constant problems with waterhere.Every month the water gets shut off to fix leaks in the underground pipe system.A royal pain in the ass when you can't take a shower.I wouldn't recommend this place unless you are a drug dealer, an illegal alien or a drug dealing illegal alien. |

| Recent Review: | | It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't raining in my kitchen and my bedroom. It may be even better if I hadn't called the office 4 times in 6 days. The fact that I took a bowl of the nastiness, which is dripping all over my living spaces and my belongings, into the office and still nothing was done makes it a little bit more unbelievable.I also have a very strong feeling that there is a good amount of mildew growing above the cupboards because I am very allergic to it and have been "sick" since this whole incident began. There was a man in the office today who looked like he could have some sort of authority over the situation who tried to tell me that mildew/ mold doesn't grow that quickly.Hmm.I'm from Michigan. Please don't try to lie to me about the growth rate of mildew because I know all about it. Even if I wasn't from a wet state, even in AZ, if you leave your laundry in the washer for a day, it will begin to smell like mildew. The point is, they don't seem to care about the fact that you are renting, from them, not owning a house/apt. , so you don't have to live w/ this sort of problem. Do yourself a favor and keep searching for something better because there are PLENTY of apt. complexes in Phoenix to choose from and hopefully you can find something better than this. |

| Recent Review: | | these apartments look and feel like something out of a south central movie. Gang members everywhere, drug dealers, you name it. I wish I never moved in here..I'm gone once the lease is up. Living somewhere shouldnt be a life or death situation. My neighbor is a drug dealer, I'm too scared to call the police for fear of retaliation. |

| Recent Review: | | Apparently the local car club held meetings on the top floor of this parking structure.I know this because a) they found humor in racing to the top, revving their stupid-ass engines, squealing around corners and trying their damnedest to set off car alarms at all hours of the night and day and b) because they broke into my friend's truck and stole his stereo. The thief may have been the same meth-adict who I saw being arrested one morning on my way to work for stripping a car in the parking lot.I mean, the cops were after him for the meth and just happened to save this car in the process. One of my favorite past times became finding new things to throw at the cars as they drove by my bedroom window. (I had plenty of time, as I was never able to sleep.) I also loved how the two people living in my 2br. apt could not have two parking spaces on the same floor.Despite my constant request to PAY for another spot, I was always being told that there was a waiting list. Why then were there constantly 5-10 empty spots? Then, how about the trash situation. The genius who decided to have trash chutes overlooked one problem; that the idiots running the place would actually have to have them emptied from time to time.Trash in the parking lot piled up for weeks bringing around lots of stray cats and the like. I heard domestic violence from my window on a number of occasions. While this provided a mild source of amusement, it made me question the true socio-economics of my digs. And I didn't dig that at all. Probably the WORST part of living in Jefferson on Central was the maintenance - or lack there of.And that could only be topped by the incompetence of the staff to assist in any major problems. In the essence of your sanity, I'll keep this brief: One holiday weekend my washing machine exploded.Granted it was the fault of my roommate, she wasn't the sharpest crayon in the box, but the apartment complex did not fix the problem for 3 days!I was hosting an out of town guest while living in STANDING WATER!When I contacted the EMERGENCY maint. man, I was told that it was a holiday - his time off - and that he only responded to emergencies.Apparently, Jefferson on Central does not classify a FLOODED APARTMENT as an emergency!!!!!When asked what did, Barney Fife replied, "A Fire."A Fire?Really? So, next time my apartment is burning down, I'll just go ahead and bypass that little organization known as the Phoenix Fire Departmentin order to call the old-as-balls, barely knows a wrench from his dick in his hand, maintenance man.Good Call... Or, how about I'll just never live here again. |

| Recent Review: | | I loved living here. It's close to downtown and closer to the businesses in uptown Phoenix. Also very accessable to the Biltmore area. Lots of young people congregating in the gym and by the pool side. This is probably the place you are looking for. |
