| Recent Review: | | The Reat Estate Brokerage company is PETER HANSEN & COMPANYI took this apartment on 22nd June 2002 with a security deposit $1575. When we entered this apartment it was not painted,damaged carpet, old and damaged kitchen oven, fridge is not cleared properly, there is some cold drinks (Drs.pepper in side the fridge), damaged bathroom and not airy, bathroom's comode flash is not working still now, some bad waste water is blocking some portion of the bathroom place,no sunlight entered, though the management said that this is a beautifull apartment. Now you can ask why we took this apartment? Because that time we had stay in our professor's house so we did not disturb that gentleman so far, and that time we bound to take that apartment. They took monthly rent for that apartment $900 + $30 garage charge. I thing it is too high for that apartment. The management is not good enough and they failed to provide heating in the winter, though they promised to give that facility, we repeatedly complaint to repair that systems.For this reason we had to arrange separately by our own and paid lots of electric bills.Our electric bill gone up and up and one month it came $70 which just double of our regular bill. So, we requested them to pay only $25 and we will pay the rest. Anyway, their behaviour to us gone worst. But we paid the monthly rent regularly and we maintain the apartment neat and clean and obeyed the agreement in toto.We left that apartment on 13th December, 2003 and we did not get back our security deposit. And they told us they will not return the same.Now, they are illegally blaming us in other way to hold the money. I think this is their culture to snatch the money from the tenant this way. They are scueezing money this way fromt the tenant.So, this is my request to the future tenants please be prepared to get in this apartment that you will not get back your security deposit at the time of leaving. Be cautious to enter this apartment. I think it is not the place to stay. |
