Recent Review:I lived in this apartment complex in 2001 and it SUCKED. First of all, I lived near the volleyball courts and my windows were broken at least 3 times and I had to pay for it. They blamed ME for something I had NO control over. Also the management was forever harassing me for things I didn't do. Everyone in the complex is a tweaker and does crazy things all night long. Trust me, and DON'T live in this CRAZY CRACKED OUT WHITE TRASH apartment complex!!!!!!

Recent Review:I had the misfortune of living at these apartments for almost a year.First, a pipe burst causing my apt to be switched at the last minute.I accepted the new apt sight unseen, my error. The new apt wasn't cleaned prior to my moving in and the previous tenant had cats.YES, the place was a mess. When I complained, I was told that they could only give me $50 off my first month's rent. When I finally left the apartments they had the audacity to stick me with the cleaning bill.Even though I informed them that I had thoroughly cleaned the apt.

Recent Review:Unless you have a dog this would be the only reason for renting here and that is ONLY ifyour in a bind and cannot find anywhere else to rent!Since living here, I have endured the forever constant up- keep and with the constant, seems like 24-7 hour blower every morning, couple that with the constant upgrading going on here and yelling from the workers(right out your window) who start at ungodly hours, the pounding of hammers oh yes and awhile back jackhammers too right out our doors, and lets not forget the morining buzz of the saws cutting down the branches. Also had to endure the neverending pounding of tearing off all the old wood from the buildings and oh yes taking away our storage to put in water heaters, for months putting up with all the loud racket I could not take it any more and had to drive 6 hrs to stay with my parents to get away from all this.Too make matters worse, last couple years having to put up with upstairs neighbor partying and parties going on till 2-3 am and the drunks hanging all over the balcony sometimes 1 or 2 and sometimesquite a few hanging on the stairway .I have called security, cops, management and to this day it still happens. I get the feeling if one has been here longer they rule the roost. Lots of rent raises you can count on maybe every yr or two not sure but it has gone up.Parking is a pain if you have more than 1 car.If your a party animal live here you'll love it but don't expect to sleep in.Oh did I forget the surprise visit to fix this or that or to check on this or that.Oh and let me tell you this When we first moved in I found shit in the cupboards.............that should have been a sign!
4. Homestead Apartments

Recent Review:From the outside, the advertising and the models shown, this complex seems to be great! I was willing to pay more because I thiought I was getting a better value. Not true. I have had many problems, my neighbors have had many problems and the management does not seem to care. I am going on the 5th manager in less than a year, the water smells bad from the sink, shower and tub, often there are people in my apartment when I have not authorized it and many more things. I just hope you have the knowledge to ask questions and read through the nice mirage that is presented. Happy hunting to you!
5. Moonraker Apartments
2901 E. Nutwood Ave
Fullerton  CA, 92831

Recent Review:I wasn't too happy to be living at Moonraker but for the most part, the experience was going just fine and it was transitional housing for me.Until I got a giant shove to move out once some sick perv panty raided my laundry while I was using the laundry facilities. This guy didn't take just one pair, but about a good 20 pairs. The leasing office seemed unconcerned. All they wanted to make sure of was that they get their $2000 if I broke my lease, who cares about my personal safety and the fact that there are drug deals going on in the next building over from me!!I'm fighting to get out of the lease without monetary penalty, but I suggest no one (or no other single girl) move to this place if you can help it!!
6. Nutwood West
2404 Nutwood Ave
Fullerton  CA, 92831

Recent Review:They have been remodeling the complex. the place is so much better than it used to be.It's comical how people complain about things on these places but never bring the issues up to management. How can they fix a problem if you dont tell them? I have never had an problems with things being fixed etc,. They have always been fixed promptly. As for noise.. Well it is a large apartment complex in a college town.. That should say enough for any complex in this area. But they do provide a security company that you can call to complain to and have them come and stop the people making noise. Once again, people being lazy to do anything else but complain.

7. Sycamore Village 1
3301 Yorba Linda Blvd
Fullerton  CA, 92831

Recent Review:We lived in a studio there back in the 90's.This place was so scuzzy! The management were more concerned with there cocaine habits than taking care of the property. Our unit was flooded out and the refused to help us or to break our lease until we got the health department involved.Their were even rumors of tenants leases being renewed without their permission or signatures!!Stay away from this hell hole at all costs!!!
8. The Pointe
2650 College Place
Fullerton  CA, 92831

Recent Review:The rent is really good- $990 for a 2bed/1bath and a year lease. That includes gas, water, trash and basic cable. The apartments are small, especially the kitchens. There is plenty of storage space, a walk in closet near the door plus linen cabinet by the bathroom. It's pretty quiet, never loud music playing at night or anything. It isn't very well insulated so its always really hot in the summer.Winter isn't so bad.Maintenence fixes things in about a week, but they don't always stay fixed. The second time is normally the charm. Its a good place for students with low budgets and medium expectations.

10. Tribeca Apartments
3201 Yorba Linda Blvd.
Fullerton  CA, 92831

Recent Review:I've been here for 1yr...about to renew my contract for another year, rent went up slightly but not as drastic as to make someone move out.The only reason I plan on staying is that I have read the reviews for the "cheaper" apts in the area and they sound 10x worse than this.Sure this place has ONE assigned parking spot, but for the most part is quiet.Lot of old folks live here so if you like the party life, this probably ain't the best place.Like I said before, rent is a little steep, but that's what it costs to have a nice place to live. They fix apt. issues rather quickly.Ok. nuff said.
