| Recent Review: | | This is the worst place I rented ever, the resident manager is the rudest and most uncivilized person ever, every memo or message posted has a threat of eviction if tenants do not comply with what is being requested. Also, the managing company, Anchor Pacifica is the worst nonprofessional business to deal with, never returning calls or caring about complainst raised by the tenants.And on top of that ist not a cheap place to rent in, muliple cars keep getting broken in inside the gated garage, and the whole building is falling apart (elevator, leaks...etc).Horrible Horrible !!! Don't ever rent there |

| Recent Review: | | Management is very slow to respond to problems. The building is very noisy and when you complain nothing is done. There are many students occupying the building now and they are very noisy.Maintenance, used to be better but now is terrible. This used to be a good place to live but not anymore. |

| Recent Review: | | Crime rate around area is very high.Apartment does not provide adequate security.Robberies are rampant.Cars and apartments are not safe.Management was completely unsympathetic when my car's friend was broken into and did not do anything to improve security.There aren't even cameras in the garages, and it is easy as pie for criminals to get onto the premises.Upkeep is bad: trash is littered around (for some time, someone's abandoned couch was in the middle of the hallway blocking everyone), hallways are in serious need of re-carpeting, and washing machines are frequently broken.Very noisy--apartment abuts the freeway and Riverside Dr. (where motorcylists on Harleys ride by on Sunday mornings; police and firetrucks also very frequent).A lot of residents are very sketchy.Walls are paper very thin--hope you don't need sleep.Worst of all, management is completely non-responsive and doesn't adequately return phone calls. |

| Recent Review: | | Park La Brea looks very clean when you first visit - but then come the roaches.Despite the fact that there wasn't a speck of anything remotely edible inside my kitchen in one of the towers, I saw roaches hovering around my sink several times a week.After complaining, Park La Brea had exterminators come twice (requiring me to move every last object from the kitchen), but nothing happened.The building is old, and there are roaches everywhere.They really don't care, and instead they give you nasty roach motels to try to take care of the problem, and believe me, roach motels aren't exactly the most inconspicuous objects - they basically scream, "This place is nasty." |

| Recent Review: | | I moved in at the end of September 2004 and there hasn't been a week that goes by that there isn't something wrong.Let's start with the day I moved in, the apartment was so filthy that it was almost uninhabitable.However, there was not one building manager working that day to hear my complaints.The apartment I received was not the one that I had been lead to believe that I would be getting.When you are shown the demo apartment, you are given the impression that you would be getting a modern city apartment, with state of the art fixtures and appliances.The aprartment I received looked like it had not been renovated since the earily 80's.The carpet was filthy and the appliances were all wornout.The stove smoked from dirt and the knobs were so worn that I couldn't read it.The washer smelled of mold and the dryer was filled with lint.Then there was the leaking.All durning the rainy season, I had a leak in the ceiling in several rooms.At first I was told it wasn't a leak from the rain, it was from workers moving the air conditioner on the roof.When the water continued to flow, I was then told that the "Earth was saturated and that there was no other place for the water to go...when it stops raining and the sun comes out, it will dry everything up".CAN YOU BELIVE THAT?WHAT THE HECK KIND OF EXPLAINATION IS THAT?They also forced us to switch cable companies.It was done in the traditional Skyline Terrace way, which is completely disorganized.I currently can not get any television reception what so ever.There are other issues as well, the elevators constantly broken, the fire alarm that goes of day and night without warning at least 4 times a week, the break-ins in both cars and apartments.And through it all, the current management has done absolutely nothing but shuffle paper around, claim that its not their problem and basically ignore you complaints.It will be a cold day in H*LL before I sign another lease with these people.I will never live in a building managed by Legacy Management or Con-am again. |

| Recent Review: | | Thie landlord Michael is very irresponsible and deceptive. He said he would have a leak in our apartment fixed becuase it damaged our apartment and after letting more than a week pass acted like we never called him. This is the second time he has failed to respond to damage in the apartment and then act like he's never heard of the problem.Also we have had laundry stolen several times.Management thinks they can just put a note by the mailbox stating thieves are targetting the building but will do nothing about stolen property.Windows and walls are paper thin.Hear neighbors talking all the time late at night. |
