| Recent Review: | | If you look those ratings are over a year ago, except for one and I know the one person that wrote that it was ghetto because of a car vandalism. The ONLY reason the person had their car vandalized is because of a personal attach against them, somebody didn't like them. I personally love it here. The people are nice, management knows what they're doing, the owners are on site most of the time. The property is beautiful and for the price of the apartments it's not bad. They're cheaper than most around and they're way bigger than any I saw. |

| Recent Review: | | There are vandelizing teens around frequently. There is no security even though you will be paying for it ( they tell you there is security but it's really just somebody who lives in the complex that they pay nobody supervises him and he usually sleeps all night and they still pay him. Complex is always noisy, no matter what part you live in it's basically guaranteed that somebody will bother you and the management doesn't care they won't post warnings. |

| Recent Review: | | THIS WAS A GREAT APARTMENT FOR US, SMALL COMPLEX, OLDER BUILDINGS, PRETTY BIG IN SIZE FOR CALIFORNIA, MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS NOISE OF NEIGHBORS, NOT MUSIC OR PARTIES, JUST OLD BUILDINGS, CAN HEAR A LOT OF WALKING AROUND IF YOU ARE ON THE 1ST OR 2ND FLOOR, OTHER THEN THAT IT'S A VERY QUIET COMMUNITY. |

| Recent Review: | | I LIVED IN I.C. FOR 2 1/2 YEARS. ON 4 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS THEY LOST MY RENT CHECK, AFTER I HAD PAID ON TIME. EACH TIME THEY ATTEMPTED TO CHARGE LATE FEES AND I WAS GIVEN AN EVICTION NOTICE, AND EACH TIME I HAD TO FIGHT TOOTH AND NAIL TO CLEAR UP THE LOST CHECK, WHICH WAS THEIR FAULT FROM THE BEGINNING. NOT ONCE DID THEY APOLOGIZE TO ME FOR THEIR RUDE TREATMENT.ONCE WE MOVED OUT, THEY CLAIMED THAT WE NEVER GAVE THEM NOTICE, EVEN THOUGH WE HAD SIGNED DOCUMENTATION FROM THEM DATED 30 DAYS PRIOR.THE PROBLEM IS THE HUGE AMOUNT OF TURNOVER IN THE LEASING OFFICE, EVERY MONTH THERE IS SOME NEW BIMBO WORKING THERE WHO LACKS BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, OR HOW TO ENTER INFO INTO THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM.I WOULD STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM RENTING HERE.ADDITIONALLY, IT IS OVERPRICED, CARS REGULARLY GET BROKEN INTO, OR STOLEN, AND THERE ARE ALWAYS HOMELESS PEOPLE DIGGING IN THE GARBAGE CANS. THE COMPLEX ONLY MAINTAINS THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDINGS, AND THE INTERIORS ARE BELOW STANDARD LIVING AND NEED MAJOR RENOVATION. NOT WORTH WHAT YOU PAY IN RENT! |

| Recent Review: | | Our experience with Mission Hills was nothing short of a nightmare. When we first moved into the apartment complex it was owned by Equity Residential.I have nothing but good things to say about this rental company. They made repairs in a timely fashion and were very professional. They also kept the area clean and presentable. It wasn't until about three weeks before we moved that Essex took over.First of all, after they had taken over it was very obvious that they didn't hold the same standards as Equity. The grounds looked awful and the large metal door that led to our dumpster broke free and layed in the middle of our driveway for three days before the maintenance crew came back and tried to put it back in the ground.(It inevitably fell again not more than a week later). But the main point is about two days before the turn over occurred my husband recieved orders to be deployed.Naturally because it is located in a Military community in the lease it is stated that with his military orders we could legally get out of our lease without any penalty.Despite the fact that this was clearly stated in my lease the women working in the office told me that I was responsible for rent through the 30th of the following month. After fighting tooth and nail with them for two weeks I couldn't get them to fold. From there my only option was to obtain a lawyer and stop dealing with them personally. It was only after I threatened legal action that they began to try to make a deal with us.To top it off they were rude and very condescending the whole time. They made it seem like I was the idiot because they had every right to not honor the lease that we had signed. In closing, I have to say don't let this company rip you off. It's bad enough that they try to steal from people. But it's even worse that they steal from the people who really can't afford it. |

| Recent Review: | | I chose to pay a higher rent at this apartment building because of the facilities (gym, pool, spa) and well manicured lawns. I moved here 7 months ago and the pool has only been open for 2 months. The gym has no keys for the weight sets and only 3 of 9 machines are not out of order. The maintenance men can't fix anything, and I was without heat for 5 days. They also turn off the waterheater at night. I have also had a sneaking suspicion that some of my possessions have been disappearing. Sometimes I come home early from work. Twice, I caught two different maintenance men breaking into my apartment in the middle of the afternoon. I have also recently developed asthma and did not know why, then a week ago I found mold growing inside my kitchen wall. If you treasure your health, privacy, possessions, and expect to get what you pay for then DON'T MOVE HERE!!!! Oh yeah, my neighbors are also drug dealers...Yay. |

(THAT'S IN THE ONE BEDROOM) THERE ARE NO OUTLETS IN THE BATHROOMS!!MANAGEMENT (DONNA ROBINSON) IS LAZY,CAUSES CONFRONTATIONS, AND IS HARDLY EVER THERE. SHE DON'T RETURN PHONE CALLS AND YELLS AND DEGRADES FELLOW EMPLOYEE'S AND TENANTS IN THE PARKING LOT IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE COMMUNITY. NO PARKING! NO PARKING!! OH DID I SAY NO PARKING? MAINTENANCE SUCKS!! IT IS VERY SLOW IF AT ALL!! |

| Recent Review: | | This place is overpriced. The maintenance is the only thing I liked about the place. My neighbors had 11 people in one apartment and nothing was ever done about it. They were afraid to call maint when their sink clogged and the mess ended up going through the pipes and flooding my kitchen. On site security and gates don't do much - my front door was tagged twice. I've called the cops on my neighbor for hitting his wife twice. Assigned parking is nice unless some twit takes your space and then the management just shrugs. |

| Recent Review: | | There are a few things you should know before moving into Sunterra Apartments. The first of which, if you move here, is that you may wake up one morning and find yourself living in the nineteenth century. Please, let me explain...There are many times when you will spend an entire day without electricity. Now granted, I do not think that this is the Sunterra staffs fault. However, it is a neighborhood issue and this should give you an idea of how terrible the community is.The next thing I would caution you of if you choose to move to Sunterra, is that you should think twice before parking your car in the garage. Many times, without warning, raw sewage will leak into the garages and spill out into the parking lot. It is a disgusting, stinky mess! The managements solution to the problem: washing the raw waste into the storm drains! I won't be swimming in the ocean anytime soon!!To some it up, this apartment community is noisy, disgusting, and not dependable. Stay away!! |

| Recent Review: | | From the street, the complexslooks very well taken care of; new garage doors, windows, new paint job and new front doors. The outside looks great! But,Let me tell you. Please beware of the owners! She seems nice in all.But she is a SLUM LORD!I say this becauseon the inside most of the suport beams are rotted out with mold( there just covered so no one sees them), there is a Cockroch problem( which they trying to handle). PATRICK LEE & ASSOOCIATES are only out to make a quick buck at the expense oftheirtenants. If you can put up the owner it might be a wounderful place to live. |
