| Recent Review: | | Owner managed (Eric Santini).Wife runs the office (always a bad sign, and this one is a great example).Greed is the true ruler of this place.If it means spending a nickle, they will avoid it at all costs.It's August and they haven't done any landscaping that most places do in early spring (mulching, bushes, etc).The carpetting is very old, stained and worn out.Upstairs bathrooms are in serious decay, with the floor and vanity dating to original construction which must be at least 40 years ago from the appearance of it.Many sidewalks are disentegrating.Mowing is done sporadically (and at 40mph, if you hear the mower.. run).Edging done maybe twice a year.The main drawback here really is the incredibly poor management.The maintenance folks are very nice, when they are allowed to repair or replace anything (expect 60 days on any repair).Greed is god, and you are just a lowly renter (of a $$$$$ apartment).Expect NO respect or action on any complaints, be they structural, appliance, or neighbor issues.Owner's wife hasn't lowered her nose in 50 years, expect her to stare down it at you.Due to their poor attitudes and maintenance, they have many empty units which it seems they are now renting to groups of college students.The reflection of that of course is that it's becoming like a giant Frat compound.Expect 20 year olds on their stoops playing loud, explicit, crude rap music at any time.It's ironic that a management team that is so snooty would allow this, but it is becoming more and more common and noticable.They used to be the only luxury apartment game in town, and I think that's given them a false sense of empowerment to neglect the tenants.There are many new complexes in the area offering much nicer, brand new, well maintained units.Seek those out, you can't do worse.I wouldn't even mind their horrible attitude (so much) if they at least offered what they think they do.For $$$$ you get an apartment, nothing else.Not even a bench to sit on anywhere.ANY other place in the area that charges as much gives you facilities such as a pool or children's area.All you get for your money here is square footage and frustration.If I owned a house in this condition I'd sell it as a fixer upper. |
