Recent Review:this is a very dangerous community with sooo many problems.there was always water all over my kitchen floor and my bathroom door fell off because the hinges were so rusted.the window got broken by neighbors, there were people using and selling drugs all over the place, often right there in the parking lot.you only get ONE parking spot per apartment and they are about a zillion miles away from your apartment.the staff is fucking RETARDED.they aren't helpful or friendly and they were just mean right from the beginning.only attraction to this complex is that it is the only one in boca to accept co-signers, but it's not worth the shitty living environment you get for your money...

Recent Review:On a quest for a new place to live, I have visited (but not lived at) the Gables at Boca Place. The propery seemed nice enough relative to the other s***holes that I have looked at in South Florida, but what really got my goat was theGables paperwork. Before you sign on to one of these properties, make sure you study their paperwork. Many of the questions they are demanding you answer may not even be legal in ANY state. Consider yourself warned in advance! For instance:They want to know your average daily balance in your checking account. They want to know the account numbers for your checking and savings accounts. They want to know about all your other assets.Taken together, this place smells like a litigous company. There are other properties that are better suited for living and Gables is NOT one of them. Also, the movein condition was deplorable on a

Recent Review:Simply put, the people in the office have not a care in the world for your well being. There is only one person I can deal with in the office who is efficient. The rest of them are worthless and should be replaced with people who can return phone calls and read. The carpet in my apartment is so disgusting, it has caused an allergy rash on my cat (confirmed by a veterinarian who specializes in skin disorders in felines). It should have been replaced prior to move-in, and I noted that on my apartment check-off prior to move-in. It is flat all over and torn around all of the edges, burn marks, etc. However, being that I had one day to move in, they didn't fix it and I was stuck in a rut of not having a place to go. That part was my fault, for not having overlapping leases and trying to be cheap. Well, it doesn't matter because YOU ARE NOT TO RENT HERE. I FORBID IT!!!!As for the office, I am amazed at how negligent they are to the point of disbelief (save for the one understanding, caring manager there). They will call randomly and say that they notice your lease is up at the end of the month and would you like to talk about renewal, when really your lease isn't up on that date. They will call you a liar. They will say you are wrong. They will deny that you ever faxed them this or that, or called them, or spoke to them, or sent them that letter. I have learned to do EVERYTHING in WRITING and go to the office and get EVERYTHING signed by a member of the team there IN PERSON. I am almost considering getting a person notary to come with me when I go.Safety: If you like living in an area where there have been confirmed (by the office, via a very poorly written notice with numerous misspellings) break-ins, and you like living under helecopters that fly overhead shining their lights into your parking lot, and you like the sound of police on their megaphones asking so-and-so to STEP OUT OF THE VEHICLE you will love this place.MAINTENANCE: They will come by at any time, unnanounced, even though you have in writing on your lease that you would like to be notified via a courtesy call if maintenance is to enter your apartment, unless you request the service yourself. It's also helpful if maintenance is coming by for a specific reason, too. I have often been in my apartment, heard the loud knock at the door, sat on my couch, and waited for them to come on in. They look startled, and ask if my water heater overflowed or if there is a leak in my refrigerator, whatever they can make up at the moment. Should I hire a personal security guard as well to protect my belongings? I have a day job, but sometimes I take sick days, and I WONDER WHY IT JUST SO HAPPENS ON MY SICK DAYS THAT MAINTENANCE IS STOPPIN' BY FOR A "HOLLA!" HOW OFTEN DO THEY COME OVER WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE??????Animals: This place is dog central, I don't mind that. But it is also rat, snake, roach, and ant central as well. Animals exist on our planet for purposes, but we build shelters to be away from them. I live with rats, snakes, lizards, ants, roaches, did I say ants? and even bats! I am scared at night walking to my apartment, for fear of being attacked by a rabid werewolf. I've seen everything at Harbour Town. Especially this one lady with like 15 dogs that she never cleans up after. Werewolves wouldn't surprise me. Ants in my apartment didn't surprise me as well, especially when the front office had to schedule an emergency pest spray to "cover" the problem.Like holes in your walls? This place is totally for you. There are holes in my walls that lead somewhere, and it scares me. Sometimes I am fearful that a creature will come through the wall and get me.I can't wait to get out. I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait. I feel like I am trapped in a horrible nightmare where the Grudge lives. They should make a movie about this place and call it "The Grudge 2: Horror Town."
