| Recent Review: | | Lived in the reserves part of Ashley Lake for almost 4 years and saw a steady decline in the community.The new philosophy was fill all apartments, no matter what.Ended up paying 900 for a 2 bdr while others paid far less.Sheriff's officers were constantly at the complex due to one disturbance after another.Drug sales were part of the problem until the dealer was arrested after trying to run over his girlfriend in the parking lot.It took a day time break-in to be the last straw for me.Found the office lied about being a section 8 community and chargedmost tennents to compensate for others.Wonder what else they lied about? Carpeting thin and worn upon moving in and kitchen flooring and cabinets needed replacing.Never happened in the time we lived there. |

| Recent Review: | | I lived there for over 5 years.When I moved in, it was a great, diverse crowd.There were minor problems, but nothing major.The past couple of years, every scumbag from Haiti has moved in and brought their filth and nasty habits with them.They drop their trash all over the place.They are the most inconsiderate, dirty people I have ever come across.They think nothing of babbling their Creole as loud as they can at 6 am on a weekend morning.People play their music so loudly that you can't even watch TV or listen to your own music.The management could care less.The management staff on site are some of the rudest people I have ever met.I had problems with them since the first day I came to look at the apartments.I went to the Management company out of Boston and they don't care either.The property and landscaping is very nice and it's a nice location, but as of late, the grass is always cluttered with trash the scumbag neighbors drop all over.The kids have NO SUPERVISION whatsoever and are free to scream, yell, shriek and cuss all over the place. I've had several different occasions where people were sitting ON my car in the parking lot drinking beer.The office won't do anything.No one in management cares.THEY don't have to live here!!!At any given time, the dumpsters have trash laying all over the ground around them, but if you lift the dumpster lid, there's nothing in there.They walk it all the way to the dumpster and drop it.If you want to live in Little Haiti, be my guest and move in, but be forewarned. |

| Recent Review: | | My dear husband and I are former Mahogany Bay residents, and let me tell you this, we will never live there again.The management is very rude and unprofessional; they are known for yelling at tenants who have legitimate complaints.They are disorganised, as well.Hubby and I asked, four times, if there was any paperwork to sign, stating that maintenance had checked us out, and stated that there was no damage to the apartment.They insisted that we did not need to sign any papers, and that we'd get our deposit back.Here we are, four weeks later, no deposit back yet.And getting maintenance requests fulfilled on time?Forget it.Once, I had water leaking into my carpet from malfunctioning A/C coils, and management actually told me to wait until Monday, when my leak was happening on a Friday evening!I had to basically get nasty with them and come close to threatening legal action before I got them to reluctantly call Maintenance to fix our leak.The maintenance man himself said, when he saw my situation, that he should have been called right away.So the long and short here, folks, is that if you want to live in a place where the management is about as professional as a kindergarten kid who enjoys a good poop joke or two, go right ahead and live at Mahogany Bay.As for me and Hubby, we moved up to Philadelphia, PA, and have a duplex with a landlord who actually fixes things on time, and in a *gasp* wonder of wonders, professional manner!Who'd have thunk it? |
