| Recent Review: | | I moved into this place 2 years ago. The totally inept leasing agent (which shall go unnamed, but she lives here in the community) screwed up from the beginning! I was going to rent a beautiful 2 br apartment (I had only seen the model in the "nice" area in the front of the community) and turns out that she never submitted my deposit for the apartment so I ended up getting a larger townhouse. Not a bad deal, you'd think! I made it clear that even though they were renting the townhouse to me for the regular 2br price, that I wouldnt be able to afford the market rent when my lease was due. She assured me that it would only go up 4%, if at all...well, lease time came due and WHAM! They raised the rent from 885 to 1080!!After promising me that they wouldnt do that!I ended up moving into an apartment just across the way. A regular 2 br like I wanted...it was then that I discovered the true nature of this community. This place is filled with the trash of the earth! To make it worse, the leasing agent I referred to lives very close to me and her children are some of the biggest problems of all! Trash left all over the stairs and walkway to my apartment, the residents seem to have no aim when it comes to placing your garbage IN the dumpster, they just leave the trash NEAR the dumpster, loud music at all times, our lovely residents even play soccer in our tennis courts! They open the hatchbacks of their cars and blare music while they are playing. I wont let my kid outside to play because the one time I did she told me that another kid threatened to stab a playmate of his! mmmmkay....This is luxury living! There was even a murder here last year!As for maintenance, well the air conditioning unit in the upstairs apartment leaked and ran down the wall of my childs room. The drywall is peeling and looks horrible! No response from maintenance.Please, I know that broward is rapidly running out of affordable rentals for working class people, but you'd be better off anywhere else. This place is a ghetto! |
