| Recent Review: | | As long as you don't have loud parties, you should be alright. The grounds are kept fairly clean. The pool and spa are AWESOME! The leasing office staff are friendly and profesional. The buildings could use ALOT more insulation. If you live on a ground floor, you usally can hear the people above you walking around. Over all, it's a good place to live. |

| Recent Review: | | As was previously stated....absolutely horrible. First of all, don't plan on getting any sleep (especially if your on the first floor) at night because the steps are so loud they will wake you right up. Not to mention you can hear every step from your upstairs neighbor when they get inside their apartment. The bathrooms...rust from the moisture on everything...everytime the upstairs toilet is flushed, sink is used, or shower is running, its almost as if its your bathroom...it's just as loud and annoying.Bugs are a constant reminder of the hellhole you live in, Sutton Place dumps this white powder all around your interior and kitchen but it does nothing. Spiders, ants, and millipeeds are a big problem. The interior and extorior are horendous. Kitchens are old and disgusting. These apartments were made some 40-45 years ago and THEY LOOK IT! Parking is decent. Managment sucks. The only positive thing about Sutton Place is rent is cheap and cable and water included....other than that I suggest you stay away from here. Absolutely cannot wait to get out of here in a month. Please take my advice...I'm warning you. |

| Recent Review: | | These 15-year old stucco-over-frame apartments are smack dab in the middle of everything:Mall traffic, Daytona Speedway noise and traffic, Daytona Airport noise, and all the drug traffic you can handle. The apartments are due for a major rehab, so expect even more noise and strangers on the property.Oh yes, expect upto 70% increase in rental prices once your unit has been rehabbed.Surrounding properties of comparable or better quality are a much better deal price-wise.Maintenance?Hope you have your plumber's license and own tools. This property has lost three (3) maintenance assistants in one year. That leave one maintenance man to cover all emergencies, move-outs and routine maintenance.Guess what takes last priority!Management?So-so.Friendly to the max until you sign a lease. After that a cold front rapidly descends.Office hours have changed three or four times in one year and personal 'emergencies' often leave the office closed well ahead of the posted closing time.Rules are enforced when convenient, and the 'courtesy officer' doesn't seem to exist - especially when noise or fights erupt late at night.Other than that, you will be well entertained by dumpster divers, non-residents sharing the pool (the hot tub is perpetually under repair), stray children from nearby properties looking for 'fun', CD-players and radios stolen from your vehicle and a whole lot more.Life is never dull at Wood Forest!Persons with disabilities should bone up on ADA compliancy as a matter of self-preservation.Wood Forest plasters the wheelchair symbol on all their promotional literature, but if you are confined to a wheelchair, forget access to the leasing office, the laundry facility and most other areas of the complex. Not even a reserved parking space near the leasing office - the curb cut can be blocked at anytime.Learn to walk again if you want to be happy here at Wood Forest.Do your worst enemy a favor - recommend Wood Forest to them. |
