( local channel news had them on tv for over a week due to unproper electrical work that had the neighborhood with no light for over a week, and when interviewed maintainance was not even certified for the job/mess done.3) high risk for car theft, and apartment break-ins.4) no assigned parking, so expect to walk blocks to the door of your apartment once you come home tired from work, or from doing groceries.5) dont be fooled that the model |

| Recent Review: | | I am currently renting at Opus and with the option to buy now that it's gone condo conversion, I am very excited.I have enjoyed living at this complex for the last few years.Of course like any other complex there have been a few small issues here but all were taken care of and it has been pretty problem free for quite some time now.There seems to be great investment potential here and I'm sure everyone who has/ will purchase will be happy.I recently bought one of the 2/2s with a view of the water and feel good about doing so.The complex has gone through a lot of changes and upgrades since going conversion and I hope that with al things considered it will continue to be a safe and quiet place to live with the potential to make a large profit from the resale a few years down the road.I would definitely recommend this place to friends...and I have.I must be honest and say that if I were asked how I felt about this complex a year ago, I would have responded negatively.There were some problems with the management and there wasn't much progress at the time but since the complex was bought and turned into condos it's been a dramatic change in all aspects. |

| Recent Review: | | Maintenance is very slow. Nobody showed up after repeated maintenance calls in some occasions.Buildings are very old. Window lock does not work, pretty unsafe. Parking lots flood during rain. Office staffs are not helpful at all in resolving issues. They are very greedy about money. All the units are being converted to condominiums. You are going to be screwed if you buy any of those. |

THIS PLACE IS GREAT.SO RELAXING.PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY.MANAGEMENT IS FRIENDLY AND THEY DO THEIR JOB.I HAD TO HAVE MY REFRIGERATOR SERVICED AND THEY FIXED IT THE SAME DAY I CALLED.I LOVE MY TERRACE, IT IS ABOUT TWICE THE SIZE OF A STANDARD TERRACE.THE APARTMENT AS A WHOLE IS SUPER AND THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM IS GREAT.THE POOL AREA IS EXACTLY WHAT IS ADVERTISED.VERY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED AND THE POOL WASREFINISHED LAST MONTH.THE LOCATION IS AWESOME, ESPECIALLY IF YOU WORK IN BRICKELL OR DOWNTOWN.EASY ACCESS TO EVERYTHING. BAYSIDE MARKETPLACE IS ABOUT 5 MINUTES AWAY. THE SECURITY SYSTEM IS SUPERB.THE BUILDING IS REALLY CONTROLLED ACCESS.I FEEL VERY SECURE.I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ANYONE TO RENT HERE. |
