| Recent Review: | | Where do I start?Moving into here would be the WORST mistake of your life!1.Our A.C. has broken (no exaggeration) 20+ times.There is a leak in the freon which the maintenance people--what a joke they are--won't fix the leak.Instead they just pump it full of freon and it runs out a couple of weeks later and we go through the same thing all over again.2.The maintenance people are a JOKE.It took 12 days to get a heating element in for our oven, even though they could have pulled one from any number of vacant apartments.I am awake right now because even though we have called and personally spoken with management, it has now been SIX DAYS since they first knew our AC was out and it is still not fixed.It is 85 degrees inside right now.They don't care.3.The maintenance people think this is their own personal playground.They pay nothing to live here and do what they want with the golf carts.It was about 12:30 in the morning the other day when one of them let his young daughter (maybe 3rd grade) and her friends ride around the complex in them!He was with them!I guess they don't obey their own curfew.4.The "cop" that is supposedly the resource office tends to sit in the middle of the road talking to people instead of doing his job.He gets free rent.Nothing more to say.5.I went into the weight room for the first time yesterday and all of the machines were broken.And so was the television.When I asked when it would get fixed, I was looked at stupidly and was given the reply: "I don't know.I haven't even mentioned that to anyone yet."6.They try to increase the rent in the MIDDLE of your contract by increasing the utilities (cable and washer/dryer) with no explanation.This, of course, is flat out illegal.7.Anyone can get into this place!We have called the police for domestic violence issues, people selling drugs--and my favorite--some deadbeat mother left her 4 year old alone with her 18 month old for at least an hour as they wandered around the road in front of their apartment.8.On first glance, it may look appealing.Since I moved in, I HAVE NEVER MET ANYONE WHO HAS LIKED IT HERE.NO ONE FEELS SAFE, AND MANAGEMENT IS NON-EXISTENT.I call it the slum of Lake County.Wait--I forgot to mention the fact that the trash compactor is heaping with bags of trash--sometimes almost a hundred bags on the ground scattered everywhere.This can be a weekly occurrence. |
