| Recent Review: | | This was not the worst place I've lived...however... I'm surrounded by shady looking 20 somethings that are noisy and unsanitary. I received a complaint stating that I leave trash bags outside my door and I was amazed, because this is not something I do, howvevermy little neighbors CONSTANTLY leave bags and beer boxes out their door. I often find many cigarrette butts and trash around my building and out my door, my dog has picked up chicken bones that were scattered on the ground. My neighbors were very noisy and I complained twice and I ended up having to put up with it until they left.You are also required to pick up after your dog, which is hard to do when there are only 2 dog trash waste cans in the entire large complex which are both in odd places, but there is none near the courtyard where I live where everyone takes their dogs out. My dog has gotten tapeworm twice since we've lived here in a few months and I wonder if that has anything to do with it.Apartment management as usual are lobotomy patients. |

| Recent Review: | | Recently I visited the property since it was within walking distance of U.C.F. I was greeted by the property manager who was very helpful gave me complete information and took me on a tour of their model.He even showed me where the apartment that I would be renting was located!For the price of the two bedroom ($590.00) I thought it was a steel and I could even half this price with my room mate!!Best of all maintenance was on hand day or night and they even had a pool that was crystal clear and covered parking.I didn't rent from them since I couldn't find a room mate and had to take another route, but this would have been my first choice! |

| Recent Review: | | Unfortunately from the start i was paired up with roommates who weren't anything like me at all, and as far as the matching forms you fill out when you move in, they're pretty much a joke. My "clean", "non-smoker" roommates ended up being very filthy and constantly smoked in the house. Over the year i stayed at University House the management made many errors in billing me for my apartment, twice told me i didn't pay when i did, and everyone in the office was oblivious to my problem until i told them legal action would be taken. The front office workers are lazy and lacadasical about their job, putting out the mail at 5:00 when it arrives every day at 11:00 am. Some of these things, I felt were un-acceptable which is why i won't be renewing my lease at University House. However the apartments themselves are cheap, they aren't the best looking, but they are well maintained if you put in a work order as soon as a problem occurs. The apartments themselves are great for the price, but the BS you have to put up with made the savings not worth it in my book. |

| Recent Review: | | This is a brand new apartment complex but this has the problems of one built 100 years ago! The management is very slow and they are always "unalbe to do anything." The gates have worked maybe 1 month total of the 6 months I have lived here so far. My AC has been broken since I first moved in! I have fire ants on the 3rd floor! My electronic lock is constanly broken; my front door wouldn't even close all the way and the leasing office took 3 hours to get someone out!(only because I called so many times!) and the list goes on and on. . . I would NEVER live with CMC management again!!! |

| Recent Review: | | The apartment is really nice and so are the people who live here.The front office staff is more concerned with people who are looking to moce in than they are about the people who already live there though.The water pressure is something to be needed here and you can hear anyone in an apartment that lives near you.I live on the second floor and I can hear everything in the apartment next door (thank goodness he is rarely there) and the people underneath me can hear me WALK around. |

| Recent Review: | | I came to this complex out of desperation to get out of the area I was in for a new start.I made a mistake. I have been treated badly, my kids bullied, my home broken into and the maintance and office staff do mothing about my leaking apartment and fixing the gates they say the gate is to provide no safety then what are we paying for.Don't move here it's not safe! |

| Recent Review: | | They may not advertize this but on 2004 a woman got raped in her apartment on the third floor and in 2001 another woman was taken out of her apartmenton the first floor and taken to a secuded area and raped also.They are quiet at night, but parking is a nightmare.In the summer there are alot of unsupervised children at the pool under 16yrs.When you renew your lease don't think you are going to get your rug clean or paint.You got to get on them for that.Not to mention if something in your apartment gets broken sit down and wait until it gets fix.It took them about 2 months just to fix my stove.Love the lay out of the apartment but the master bedroom closet is not big and in the bathroom.A lot ofapartments have mildew in there A/C vent which is not healthy for children.They may look great, but its all an illustion. |

| Recent Review: | | This was my first apartment after high school. The problems started with a small annoyance. When we reserved the apartment in June, the place was called Alafaya Trail Apartments. When we moved there in August, they had changed the name and not bothered to notify us. Since we weren't Orlando natives, it took us a while to find it. We had requested to be put toward the back of the complex, where it would be quieter. They put us at the front. They signed us up for a special entitling us to our first month's rent free, then a couple weeks later tried to charge us for it, plus late fees.Our immediate neighbors were a family or four, parents and two kids. When the frat boys weren't keeping us awake at night yelling and lighting fireworks, these two kids and their friends made CONSTANT, LOUD noise. I mean godawful yelling and screaming all the time. Once a week their grandparents came to pick them up, early Sunday morning, but instead of getting out of the car and knocking on the door, just honked and honked for oh, about 10 minutes straight.Our A/C died about two weeks after moving in, but to give them credit, management was right on it and had it fixed. They also gave us notice before they came to give our apartment pest treatments. (We never had a big bug problem.)Office people were never too friendly or bright, but not horrible overall. Our apartment was ok for the price we paid, ($699 for a 2/1) but our rooms in the back didn't get A/C too well, and the windows were perpetually stuck.My main beef with the place came when some assholes stole my scooter right out of the parking lot. The lot has no lights or security so I shouldn't have been as surprised as I was.I wouldn't live at this place again, but still admit that it's better than a lot of the others in the area. |
