| Recent Review: |  | Brandywine apartments are very centralized, within walking distance one of St. Petersburg's biggest malls and two main streets as well as a shopping plaza w/ more "localized" requirements (grocery, barber, etc.).Most busses meet at the mall, so if public transportation is your cup of tea, it's there.The general area isn't considered a "safe-neighborhood" but Brandywine has few or no safety concerns because it is .It's quite clean, w/ 3 pools, always in easy reach.The mail and dumpster are slightly remote depending on your location, which may be irritating if you like them close.Two exits make it accessible as well does an exit onto the Pinellas Trail.One previous review was incorrect because there *is* a club-house.There is no gym on-site, but each apartment comes with a free membership to Gold's Gym which is down the street.My experience w/ the management has been very good.They always kept in contact and treated me like a star customer, even though I was interested in one of the least-expensive apartments.The few complaints I had when moving in were fixed the next business day.As for the look of the place, all the paint is fairly new.A few missing shutters due to the hurricane.However, they've just redone the railing in [almost] all the apartment buildings.The sidewalks and streets are always kept clean.I've never seen a bag of trash lying around like some other places I've been.The grounds are very well-kept. Trees are to be found everywhere. Verdant grounds always add to the beauty of any complex.They offer to paint one "accent" wall (any wall you like) for free.You do not have to paint over this wall when you leave.My only complaint is that, though I requested this be done a month ago, they were having difficulties with the painters at the time and have not yet contacted me to have it done.No utilities are included.This can be a plus or minus depending on how you view it. |

| Recent Review: |  | I have lived here for several months now and the new manager is working hard to fix up the place, only problem is she doesnt do enough and her efforts are actually causing headaches for residents.Parking is highly enforced, but there are not enough parking spots late at night that are safe, security is present but not always able to be found-making the long and dangerous walk back to your apartment a bit scarry.When you come in to do anything other than pay rent the office staff is rude and unhelpful.Need something done? refuse to pay rent--Good thing is that they dont keep tabs on pets.If you must, stay near the front and dont stay out late! |

| Recent Review: |  | I've been complaining of rats since THANKSGIVING 2004!!!! And I still have them!Took about a month of constant phone calls before they would even hire a professional! Just a couple of days ago, there was a dead rat outside of my apartment.I called 2 days in a row and no one removed it.THEY DON'T CARE.They only call you back if you owe them something. Management won't take any responsibility and makes their staff do all the dirty work. Dumpsters are horrendous. Overflowing trash constantly, which is where the rats feed!They wouldn't let me out of my lease so now that my lease is up and I have no where to go, they are telling me I have to be out because they've rented my RAT INFESTED apartment and if I don't go, I have to pay eviction fees, court costs and DOUBLE RENT for this scum hole apartment complex.Oh, and they call this a "gated community" - that's a total JOKE.Gate is always open except at night but all you have to do is wait for someone to come or go and you're in. At least 3 times during my 2 years here, cars have crashed through pieces of the gate and it took them probably 3 months each time to replace the gate.Sauna has never worked since I've been here.It's embarrassing to have people over and my sister (who's not from Florida) was totally freaked about the cock roaches!This is absolutely the most trashy apartment complex I've ever seen.Pay a few more bucks and move elsewhere! |

| Recent Review: |  | I was considering moving in this apartment and thank god I did not sign the lease when I made my deposit. Four hours after I made my deposit , I received a call that the rent I was quoted would be 25.00 more because of upgrades to the apartment. The upgrades were new cabinets, flooring and carpeting. I could not see these upgrades, because the people that supposedly had the keys to my apartment were gone for the day. I ended up moving to Coquina Key and glad of the decision I made. The rent is more but, you get your money's worth. |

| Recent Review: |  | This is the worst ghetto hell place I have lived in.I have moved 4 different times n 2 yrs because of problems here.Rats, bugs, roaches, racoons, all the neighbors or the roomates depending on who can get in.Maintenance doesnt do its job nor do they care.Loud nights, kids all over the place till all hours of the night, holes throughout the floors, no screens, leaks and pipes clogged all the time.This is not a good place to live and way over priced for the shitty ass place. |
