| Recent Review: | | ive seen these apts before and i must say, the rehab management is doing is coming out great,my apt is no comparison to the original, when they are complete with the whole property it will be great, the closet space can not be compared to newer constuctionand the unit looks new inside |

| Recent Review: | | We were impressed with looks and amenities and friendly staff, until we moved in.Extremely poor water pressure (less than 1 gal/min) until we complained to fire department, but still not great.Electronic gate card wore out after 7 months, they would not replace (this despite the fact that the gate is stuck open 30-40% of the time).Hot tubs jets seldom work, and when they do water is either way too hot or not heated at all.Washing machine has destroyed 14 articles of clothing in 8 months, as well as damaging many others (evidenced by huge amount of lint in dryer after each load).Kitchens are same size for 1, 2 and 3-bedroom units, so not nearly enough room in 3-bedroom units for a family of 3; refrigerator clearly not as large as originally designed for (only 28" wide), since there is about 5" wasted space next to it; cupboards inadequate and inconvenient.Staff is MOST UNCOOPERATIVE once you move in, unless you suck up to them, and even then they help only when it suits them and it won't cost them any money.Maintenance people are nice but incompetent.Noise travels well between units and from outside and especially stairwells, despite their "no noise after 10pm" rule (they will NOT enforce it, nor any other "rule").Construction is CHEAP - carpet looked terrible after just 3 months (and YES, I DO know how to take care of carpeting - I vacuum weekly, at least, and we had it cleaned at our expense after 5 months!We and our teen daughter are NOT messy people.); tile was poorly installed so that you can hurt your feet if you step the wrong way; paint started wearing off stair bannister and walls withing 2 months; plumbing fixtures pitted within 2 months; closet doors open in so that you cannot use 1/3 of the closet or you can't close the door (we took door off master bedroom closet) and closets are small to begin with; trash dumpster often overflowing; construction of additional units has been noisy and non-stop for 5 months and is not scheduled for completion for another 8-10 months.Its been 1 year since hurricane damaged our unit and still nothing has been done to fix it; not even roof tiles have been replaced yet."Amenities" such as computers with internet access, pool table, big-screen TV, etc., are usually being used by kids so seldom actually available (and the "free use" copier NEVER works).Two weeks ago I walked around the place, and asked everyone I met (about 30-35 people) how long they'd been here - not one person has been here over a year, and many said they'd be happy to leave when their lease is up.Looking for a nice place to live?KEEP LOOKING! |

| Recent Review: | | The People at Royal Palm Key are great.The people who live here , maintence and the staff.When my A/C went out at 2:00am a maintence man was there to fix it right away. I really love this place. It wasnt just another place to rest your head , It was my home.If i ever come back to Florida i would come here. |

| Recent Review: | | Have lived here for 2 years and am moving out soon.Maintenance service is terrible as they either don't understand or don't care about problems.Office staff is equally incompetent.Unless you actively hassle staff, they won't take care of problems.Maintenance of apartments is poor as well.They don't bother with minor problems such as cracked/broken tiles, formica, air conditioning maintenance, etc.Staff is constantly turning over so it is impossible to develop any type of relationship with them.One of the few benefits is the pool area, which is probably the nicest of any in this area.However, the hot tub is usually dirty.Parking is a problem if you are located in the middle part of the complex, as there are more apartments here than spots.I had moved here for the good location and reasonable price, but have finally had enough.I am looking forward to leaving this apartment community. |

| Recent Review: | | WE SPENT 2 YEARS IN THIS PLACE. THE AC UNITS ARE OLD AND CAUSE YOUR ELECTRIC BILL TO BE ASTRONOMICAL AND THEY WILL NOT FIX IT FOR DAYS!! THERE IS HUGE RAT PROBLEM. AND MYSELF ALONG WITH ALL MY NEIGHBORS WERE BROKEN INTO MULTIPLE TIMES AND LUZ FROM THE LEASING OFFICE JUST SAYS. |

| Recent Review: | | We left Shenandoah Village feeling pretty good about our stay...that was until the administration had to actually work.The area in general is convienient with the exception of some people breaking in to cars.When we left an moved from Florida they did not change the water company back to their name so we continued to be charged after we were gone.Our attempts to get that rectified took several months and a few phone calls to corporate (that did not help either).The "Resident Relations" person never returned our calls.Well they finally fixed it and reimbursed our money for the water bills.The real problems came a year later.We had a minimal charge to us for repairs (oops).We paid that right away.A year later a collection agency contacted us informing us that their mistakewould end up on our credit report.We sent them a cancelled check showing our payment and nothing happened.We called the VP of the company and she did not return our call.After a month of dealing with this problem it was finally cleared up without even an apology.Overall, it is a pretty nice place for the money as long as you keep DETAILED records and never have to deal with management.The management is not only slow with their actions and with thier wits they are rude to boot.Welcome home to Shenandoah Village. |

| Recent Review: | | This building is so poorly manage they may as well pay people to live here.This place is a real dump.After hurricanes they took forever to repair the molded carpets and water damaged apartments yet they expected their rent paid on time.It took them 3 months to change my carpet out. By this time mold was on all of my furniture.I was never reimbursed for that...figures.Not to mention the homeless people that use the garage for shelter.I noticed as many as 10 in the garage at once and security did nothing about it. They only allow one vehicle in the garage and you have to pay for any additional cars.They will boot any visitors that park on the wrong level or if they put the wrong dat on your visitors pass.It is so much of a hassle for visitors to park no one will want to come to your house. You will hear the music from the surrounding clubs....you can never leave a window open at night. Save your money.While the downtown living may seem attractive it is not worth it; this building is run like a dump! |
