| Recent Review: | | There are no words to describe my experience at Archstone Perimeter Center. From the first week I was in the apartment, I knew I had made a huge mistake. My carpet had stains and hard spots covering the entire living room area, but the community manager would not budge to put in new carpet. My blinds broke, my sliding door came off the hinges and my linoleum started to crack. All of this happened within the first week of my arrival at Archstone. There is also limited parking, so if you don't find a space and you park on the curb, chance are you will get towed. Not to mention the maintenance staff.Instead of wondering if they were actually going to fix my sink that clogged up almost every week, I would fix it myself. There were also several break-ins, assaults and there were always police at the leasing office. This complex made me feel very unsafe and I would never recommend this community to anyone. If you are interested in Archstone Perimeter Center, be very aware before you sign a year lease like I did.The specials they have going right now are incredible, but keep in mind that also says something about the community. |

| Recent Review: | | I visited asbury commons and I fell in love with the place. It has european inspired arquitechture and I see how well maintained the secured grounds are. The apartment complex looks like a damn fort. It's impossible to get in unless you have a key card. The parking is underground so you dont hear any cars, much less see them. The complex is really pretty and secluded so you have no one driving around that area unless they are visitors or residents. Thats what i most like about it. The neigbours feel so safe that when I went to visit, they allowed me to see their apt models without even blinking. There is no area to walk your dog there which is good and bad at the same time. No poop in sight anywhere, but you kinda have to walk out of the complex to do so. I like the place. The layout is cool, and so are the apts (the kitchens have windows in it which is a rare treat!) The noise level in the apts are pretty low. It still IS an apartment. These apts are built in the late 80, so they are made with better material and the insides are remodled. Really nice place! |

| Recent Review: | | I lived in this apartment for a year, and it was the worst year of my life! When we saw the apartment, we loved how much space there was.We didn't see our real apartment until we moved in- big mistake! The model was so much nicer than the actual apartment. Our kitchen was ugly and outdated, and the wall paper in the bathroom looked like it was from 1985. But the appearance was nothing compared with the noise, and the horrible management!A few months after we moved in, someone with 3 kids moved in above us.The kids ran and jumped all over the house. We woke up at 7 am with them every morning. The management and security officer dismissed it as every day noise from living in an apartment, but it was much worse! My friends would come over and couldn't believe what I lived with. Some days it was constant banging, but no one from management would come over and listen. It took us months to get them to pay attention to our complaints, and then they suggested we get some ear plugs. When that didn't work, her next suggestion was we set up a meeting with the people above us to come up with an agreement!Too bad we had already tried to talk with the neighbors and the were rude every time. The other suggestion was we could move to another apartment, for a $250 fee. Of course we wouldn't be allowed to break our lease though!. Then, our air conditioner broke in the middle of summer and it took them 6 visits to our apartment to actually fix it.On one visit, the maintenance man actually left the master key for all apartments in our door, and the apartment unlocked. There had been burglaries of cars in the parking lot, and he was still this irresponsible! All the manager said about that was, sorry. Residents also let their dogs poop everywhere and the management didn't enforce cleaning it up until it was everywhere! The signs posted to clean up after your pet didn't cut it! I can't stress enough how horrible this place is!!!You will be so sorry if you move in! |

| Recent Review: | | Unprofessional and unreliable management staff. Car wash facilities never worked. Business center is useless. They dont do any maintenance on time. I had bathroom ceiling leak and I complained about it no body came for 1 month. They dont do any bug control even though you call them. Staff does not take any responsibility for any maintenance. |

| Recent Review: | | I'm one of the oldies but goodies at Hampton Hill. Except for the constant turnover in the leasing office, my experience has been pretty satisifying. Over the past couple of years the clientel has gone down a bit and I considered moving because of it.But lately things seem to be improving. The leasing office has gotten a facelift and the pool has made the biggest change.Nice furniture and finally music around the pool. I would recommend living here for anyone needing a nicely priced apartment but not wanting to live right in the city. The location is the best!I give it an a- |

| Recent Review: | | I could not believe the review I read when accessing this site.It was exactly what I have experienced which is nothing good and I thought I was the only one who felt this way.As in the 3/03 review, my kitchen was not clean to move in standards and the property has trash visible on adaily basis (outside of residents doors, in the breeze ways and for a while in the parking areas). The parking lot has served as a mechanical garage where people have their hoods up working on raggedy cars that are so loud they can wake you from your sleep! On balconies you will see that it is used as a storage unit housing everything from clothes, shoes, electronics, furniture and even naked trash which is an eye sore.I regret not doing more research on the apartments but was making a last minute move from another state and went with the best deal.I figured Dunwoody was a great location (which it is) and that the neighbors and the property couldn't be bad because of the location.Think again! What's ironic is right across the street at The Gables, it looks to be a nice, quiet, clean apartment community that doesn't seem to tolerate what Summit does.If I could get out of my lease I would. |
