 I lived in Brentwood Downs for 4 years.Intially, the park-like setting looked nice and quiet.However, the property quickly declined.The grounds are unkept and unsafe.There is trash in the breezeways and around the lake.The path around the lake is unsafe to walk on as it has been washed out in numerous places and is uneven.The maintenance is poor and non-responsive.Upon move in, I reported that the carpet in my unit was badly stained.After three calls and no response, I documented the damage on the move in inspection form (I couldn't move - my furniture had been delivered from New York).I also took photos.When I moved out recently, they sent me a bill for $100 and are keeping my $150 deposit as well.While I could probably dispute this, I would rather wash my hands of this community.It has become crime ridden - there have been numerous break ins, vandalism, assaults and even one attempted kidnapping of a child.This place is over priced and not maintained.I would rather live in Baghdad.
