| Recent Review: | | I lived in Brentwood Downs for 4 years.Intially, the park-like setting looked nice and quiet.However, the property quickly declined.The grounds are unkept and unsafe.There is trash in the breezeways and around the lake.The path around the lake is unsafe to walk on as it has been washed out in numerous places and is uneven.The maintenance is poor and non-responsive.Upon move in, I reported that the carpet in my unit was badly stained.After three calls and no response, I documented the damage on the move in inspection form (I couldn't move - my furniture had been delivered from New York).I also took photos.When I moved out recently, they sent me a bill for $100 and are keeping my $150 deposit as well.While I could probably dispute this, I would rather wash my hands of this community.It has become crime ridden - there have been numerous break ins, vandalism, assaults and even one attempted kidnapping of a child.This place is over priced and not maintained.I would rather live in Baghdad. |

| Recent Review: | | THE NEIGHBORS IS WHAT MAKES THIS PLACE FEEL LIKE HOME. I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR 2 YEARS AND IT IS AS CLOSE TO BEING IN YOUR OWN SINGLE FAMILY HOMES AS CAN BE. THIS PLACE IS ALL 1 FLOOR, SO IT IS GREAT IF YOU A DISABLED. YOU HAVE YOUR VERY OWN PATIO AND A AREA TO GARDEN IN IF YOU LIKE. WE WERE TOLD TO MAKE OUR HOME,SO WE DID. I COULD HAVE SEEN MYSELF LIVING HERE FOR MANY YEARS,BUT WE ARE MOVING BACK TO OUR HOME STATE. IT IS KINDA COOL THAT YOU CAN BE IN ATLANTA IN 30 MINS. BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE THE FEELING LIKE YOU LIVE IN A BIG CITY. APARTMENTS ARE ROOMY EXCEPT FOR THE KITCHEN, YOU HAVE BUILT IN BOOK SHELVES. I WILL MISS THIS PLACE. |

| Recent Review: | | High Rent and had too many problems in the 2 years I lived there.Took several days for any repairs, including 2 weeks during the summer to have AC fixed.Nice staff, but they avoided issues and were hard to work with.Gates were always up so it didnt even feel like a Gated Community. |

| Recent Review: | | I've been here nearly two years.My neighbors aren't too bad, but there are a lot of other 'little' concerns.First of all, the trash compactor is located near the front of the property.I don't know what happened, maybe they got somebody who read the manual on pushing a button, but from about Thanksgiving until about two weeks ago, every Monday morning the trash would be piled up and spilling out into the driveway.The kids aren't too bad save for one or two who make everybody miserable because they swagger around and swear at everybody.And you can't talk to their parents either, they're just as bad.My neighbors are friendly and relatively quiet, though the mexican music downstairs every single night is getting on my nerves.We don't have a courtesy officer anymore, and even when we did and he delivered messages for the office, they were days late, not one or two, I mean 4 and 5 days late.There was a meter box pulled off the side of a building for the better part of a year which they finally fixed.I think it was something to do with a corporate visit.As far as the office staff go, well........they leave a lot to be desired.They go from nice and easy going to royal you-know-whats weekly.One week it's Jennifer, the next it's Armanda.Just be sure you ask a question specifically and literally, because you can get whatever they feel like answering at the time.Pest control is by asking only the office only, and it's a crime that more people don't know about it.... but I've managed better than any maintenance guy with a sprayer for years. And the maintenance staff leave a lot to be desiered.They couldn't fix a sprayer which my fiance managed to fix in a bout 5 minutes.And be careful if you do move in here.They cleaned the caret and it looked like hell.They painted over the wallpaper in one bathroom and the guest bathroom has mold growing under it.Who in their right mind puts wallpaper in a bathroom anyway?It's a haven for mold and mildew, don't people know this yet?My lease is coming up for renewal very soon, and I do not intend to stay.Further more, I have NEVER recommended this place to anyone I know.I would be ashamed. |
