 I lived here for two years, from 2002-2004. The apt I was in was pretty quiet since we faced the back, but since they've ripped down all of the trees to build more apartments, that may change. There's finally more parking, and the noise level varies. It seems to be worse in the summer when more ghetto people like to hang out in the parking lot. No bugs, though. And cross your fingers and hope that you get good roommates - they can be the difference between an okay place and a dingy hell.
