 No matter how early of a move-out notice you give, or how great the condition you leave the apartment in, expect troubles getting your deposit back.My move-out sheet was perfect and I gave a 61-day notice.However, instead of receiving my full deposit back, I received a large bill saying I didn't give a 60-day notice and owed them.I had proof that I turned in my notice on time, but I've been arguing with them for weeks trying to get my deposit.Also, don't expect quality service from the corporate office when you ask for your money back.They won't return their calls, and then give you the run-around when you tell them they made a mistake.I already filed a complaint on the Better Business Bureau website, but since they haven't responded to 3 of the last 5 complaints, I don't expect mine to be any different.I guess we'll be going to court soon if I don't receive my check soon.
