1. Chattahoochee Landing

Roswell  GA, 30075

Recent Review:This place was terrible from day 1. The management promised we could view the apt. prior to moving in, when we arrived to view apt. they told us the prev. tenant was still living there. When we came back a week later as advised tenant was STILL there after their move out date. Apt. was supposed to be on walk in level but tenant never left and we were given a lower level apt. on our move date which resulted in us having to change our address on our move date and our mail was severely delayed. There was a huge bug problem in the apt. the bugs were endless and jurrasic in size. The gate was broken more often than not and the pools were never cleaned. One pool was closed the entire time I lived there. The playground was so covered with dog feces and tree branches that I didn't even consider taking my child there. Couldn't wait for lease to end and I wouldn't recomment this place to anyone who cares about their quality of living!

Recent Review:A few years ago this was one of the better places in Roswell. In the past couple of years it has gone downhill. Managment turnover is high- I think they've gone through 4-5 managers since I have been here. I honestly can't keep track of the turnover. Most of the former managers were rude and hostile with residents. The current management isn't that bad, they just talk a good game but don't do anything. They tried to cover up a mugging that occured last spring and acted shocked and appalled when residents found out. I guess they were more concerned with sweaping it under the rug than letting residents know to be more careful. The trash compactor was broken last fall and for nearly two weeks trash was piling up all over the place. The leasing office had a sack full of excuses, but no action. Grande Oaks is a favorite spot for abandoned cars, but if you complain to the leasing office they'll tell you they have problems rengotiating a towing contract, which is a bunch of baloney. This place also features suspicious neighbors with very odd people coming and going at all hours are the norm- I am not sure what they are selling out of their apartments, but I can promise you it isn't Mary Kay. If someone slams a door in the building (and they do constantly, even at 3am) the whole friggin building shakes. The surrounding neighborhood is becoming a lot like a demilitarized zone, which isn't my idea of a place to call home. I've had my fill of shady people wandering around, and when someone tried to beat my door down a couple of months ago I decided I've had enough and am getting out of here. On a positive note, they have done some landscaping improvements and repainted the fitness center a horrible shade of peach. I've only had to call maintenance twice and they fixed it both times within a day- although one of them was my A/C in the middle of July and they quoted something about how if it was less than 80 degrees then it could wait until business hours. I thought for what I am paying that was a crock. They tried to fix the gates after having them either broken or partially functional for several months and it lasted about 2-3 weeks- tonight they are broken again. Grande Oaks certainly isn't the worst place in the area (we haven't had a triple homocide like another complex in the area, at least not yet) but there's better places to rent in Roswell/Alpharetta for less money and better service. Do yourself a favor and find one.

Recent Review:There are so many complaints against this apartment complexto write. Call the Roswell police apartment and ask. The new management says they are going to fix things up. The only thing they have fixed up is the price of the rent. They dont respond to complaintsand they could care less aboutyour rights to quiet enjoyment. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!STAY AWAY FROM THESE APARTMENTS.!!!!!!!!!!!
5. Roswell Gables
100 Hemingway Lane
Roswell  GA, 30075

Recent Review:Been here 3 years. Every year it gets worse. Currently the residents are mostly "low income" and low class. This used to be the premier complex in roswell. Can't even get a hold of leasing office by phone any more. If you value your privacy and safety, don't live here.

Recent Review:This apartment complex is not what its all cracked up to be.They are all fake, esp the manager, how she has been so long is beyond me.They tell you what you want to hear, and then its never like they say, its all a big trap. You should also know that this apartment offers discounts to lower income families and single parents. They adveritse these apartments as "luxury", when that is far from the truth. When you are paying almost $900 a month for a one bedroom apt, and you have to deal with a lower class of society that doesnt have the same standards as you, its very difficult. The children run wild through the entire complex, constantly screaming, skateboarding through the breeze ways, spitting the hallways, throwing footballs in the parking lot around all the cars. They have even hit several cars and just looked around to see if anyone saw them and then carried on with what they were doing.False advertising is what this apartment does, nothing they tell you is true, dont find out the hard way like I did.
