| Recent Review: |  | DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!!!Apartments are in terrible condition, falling apart, major things wrong with them, even structually UNSOUND.You can feel the whole building move in a stiff wind.They NEVER fix anything on time, if even at all, and they pretend liek they care, they don't give a CRAP!!!Not worth the rent that they charge.Swimming pool is NEVER clean, there is NOTHING ELSE on site at all....you get way less than you pay for!!! |

| Recent Review: |  | While all Wilmington Island partments have their own drawbacks this is the undisputed worst scoring the very lowest on all points.You will pay more here for the same thing at other apartments and get less.You may get an incentive to move in but that will soon be made back by the complex.Overall the complex is poorly run with a poorly trained onsite staff from the manager down.There is an air of paranoia amoung the staff that really suggests they would benefit from psychological testing and treatment.The staff is rude to the tenants, invasive, unwelcoming.On top of your rental expense in this complex you will be charged seperately for your water.This bill does not come from the city of Savannah but from a serearate comapny in Texas hired by the Oaks, Minol-MTR.Your water and sewer bill will cost you big time.Some residents report bills in excess of $90.00 per month for one person.This is bad considering the average per apartment unit cost for the complex for water from the municipality is $15 to $20 per month.They have a racket going and the sole purpose here is added income for the complex.If you question your bill, they will do nothing and treat you poorly in the process.This should be a big deterent in renting from the Oaks.Other apartments on the island have seperate water meters for each unit that are read by the city of Savannah and the water cost is negligable.Here you are billed monthly for water, in other complexes billed by the city the are bi-monthly (onec every two months)Add it all up and you have a complex that does not score well.Rude management, poor maintenance, lack of security, high utility payments.Poor staff boundries which border on harrassment and personal invasion.Go elsewhere, save money and be treated kindly and fairly! |

| Recent Review: |  | This is the worst place i have lived so far, the Property Manager, Pat Woods, is so two faced its not even funny. No maintenance gets done unless you find a maintenance man and ask him to do the work. If you ask the property manager the work nevers gets done. No one returns you phone calls unless they want something from you. The entire complex is just dirty, when i move in i had to pressure wash the outside of my apartmen because there was so much dirt and grim everywhere and i had to pay for it out of my own pocket. There have also been numerous hit and run accidents throughout the parking lot and several cars have been broken into. |

| Recent Review: |  | This place was great at first - quiet, clean, etc... and then the college students moved in, by the droves. Now The Hammocks is more like a college dorm - loud, trash all over the place, nowhere to park, kids noisily coming and going at all hours of the day and night.If you luck out and get a unit in a building that has few SCAD kids living in it, you will love it here, otherwise you will want move out. These spoiled college kids are trashy as all hell, and suddenly they are all over the place. |

| Recent Review: |  | this is a horrible place to live. Bugs, noise, bad management, etc, etc. I could go on forever.But hey, if you have a pet and don't want to pay pet rent, or pet deposit, just don't tell them! many others do it.don't plan on sleeping much, either. and i hope watching drug deals go down won't bother you. |
