| Recent Review: | | Living at Emerald court apartments was a tragic hell to me.Not only were there a bunch of drunks and irresponsible groups of people living there, but was also harassed by the neighbors and management for having a faint volume on the tv or radio--this place gives you absolutely no privacy or any kind of life--stay away.Also if you like to park two miles away from home and walk this is a great place. |

| Recent Review: | | Lakeside Apartments are the most disgusting roach-infested, poorly-managed, sorry excuse for an apartment complex that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The management is so incompetent, not only could they not keep track of how much rent I was supposed to be charged, they didn't even know when my lease was supposed to expire and now it is a huge legal hassle because they are trying to charge rent for months after the lease expired... Take my advice (and that of all the other reviewers on this site) ... RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Unless of course you like crack dealers and cockroaches... then maybe it would be perfect. |

| Recent Review: | | I mean yeah there are problems but most are with the fake happy staff in the somewhat small apartments along with the fact that this year was the opening year and there was still construction going on. The only other real problem i can see that is going to screw this place is the distance from campus but its still not that far and theres always the bus. The theivery only happens if your stupid enough to put alot of expencive shit in your cars and the stuff that where stolen wasnt used a hell of alot anyway. The people that are rating this place so low are Chicagonite snobs spoiled ritch kids who this that things should be bigger. This place is a 8/10 and they expect a 12/10 yes it was over hyped but everything is. If you keep your expectations low you will be happy with the fact that you dont have to pay any bills on your own you have free cable, the matenance staff is prompt theres underground parking and a hottub. Plus the extra's a basketball court pool table plunty of laundry rooms a decent look and community kitchen along with the kitchens you have in your apartment. Yes it is over priced and they did take away the original 100 off rent from the first year (a ploy to so they can say there not raising rent) But a gehto kid like me likes the idea of not having to worry about anything but rent and having the space to use for my film classes. |
