| Recent Review: | | 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms. nice open kitchen/living area. great apartment. nice, clean & well-managed. downside - - you have to share a deck. the people who live there need to go back to driver's ed and learn how to park a car. vandals live nearby and the property has a peeping tom. |

| Recent Review: | | I think these apts should be rented for cheap.We have dark brown plastic cabinets. They say theres plenty of parking. I never get to park my vehical at my building. The tennis court is bigger than the swimming pool. You get more than five people in there your over crowded. They need to put in gutters. when it rains your deck is just full of mud than dryed dirt everywhere. The new buildings are great inside , and out.The old buildings need som TLC. |

| Recent Review: | | We were really concerned when we moved in, as we found a few things that were overlooked by the management when the previous people moved out.These things should have been fixed before we moved in, before anyone moved in for that matter.But, they were "johnny on the spot" to get them fixed 1 day after we were settled in.After reading other posts about other places that have freeway traffic noise, I must say it's not bad here at all although the complex is located very close to I 235.This is by far one of the best complexes we've ever lived in.Very friendly management, very friendly neighbors, and very few childern.(sorry to those with kids)I must say, for lack of words it's a very YUPPY type communtiy with people of all ages but very few childern.Pool and hot tub are nice in the summer with NO KIDS!They could really do some work with the lawn but thats really no bother to us.The apartments allow pets too, so our dog was welcomed, and washers and dryers are a HUGE plus! |

| Recent Review: | | The walls are thin..sometimes you cannot hear noise sometimes you can depending on how loud the other tenants are being. Tenants do not always do a good job of picking up their animals waste and cigarette butts are often found all over the ground. Two of the staff members are very nice and helpful however the manager is quite rude. Maintenance is good, they come and get things fixed in a reasonable time and if it is not fixed right the first time they come back. I was not so much impressed with my unit. I was told that a tear in the linoleum was going to get fixed and it did not. There are also no lights in the bedroom or living room. Also my toilet seat just broke for no reason at all. The only reason I am still living at these apartments is because I cannot afford to break the lease. I would not recommend them to my friends and I would not live there again. |

| Recent Review: | | The simple fact is these apartments a grossly overpriced.At first viewing they appear nice from the outside, but once you get looking close you realize how bad they are.Dead landscaping everywhere, BUT by the office...Very rude & unprofessional office staff.Maintenance staff does not actually 'maintain' anything- there for repair purposes only.Frequent vandalism & break-ins in parking lots.Very undersized laundry facilities.Paper thin walls- You WILL hear your neighbors.Very cheap construction materials; i.e. the door trim in the apartments is PLASTIC!NO baseboards in apartments.Kitchen cabinets are PARTICAL BOARD! (hope you like splinters with your dishes)Windows are very drafty, and NEVER get cleaned from outside by maintenance.Lots of dead grass for landscaping.I could go on and on and on.ONLY saving grace for Regency Woods is that it is near freeway & West Des Moines.But the simple fact is that is EASILY overpriced by $100-$150 a month.EASILY.I hated every day I spent in this place.It is a trailer park without the wheels |

| Recent Review: | | I've lived in various apts. in DM and WDM and this was by far the worst. I would rate it at a 0 if I could. It's nice looking on the outside, but once you see the inside it's a whole other story (pay no attention to the model they show you-that's not what your gonna get)!Durning the time I lived here pipes were constantly bursting. I know of tenets who had their apt flood multiple times without the problem ever getting fixed! It was always freezing cold and the price to heat a small apt was twice as much as it is to heat your average home.My theroy is that the walls properly insulated just like the pipes weren't. For as much as you pay you should expect that place to be perfect but it's far from it. Rumor has it that the owners paid illegal foreign workers in cash to build the place instead of a reputable construction company, as a result the tenets are dealing with the consequences. To make matters worse the management was also terrible - refusing to compensate anyone for their problems. They know when you sign a lease you sign all your rights away and they take total advantage of that! Also, don't expect to get your deposit back when you leave. Would not recommend! It may look great on the outside, but don't be fooled! |
