| Recent Review: | | I find staying her horrible they take their time fixing things but they harase you for rent. The water in the shower gets cold really fast so you can't take long showers, only able to take five minute showers everyday.The orkin man stills when coming to exterminate, so you can't leave your valuables around.They just come in your apartment. |

| Recent Review: | | The ladies working in the leasing office have serious attitude problem. They are very arrogant. It is difficult to get proper information and to request any maintainance. Ask anyone living in one of their properties, then you will hear her/his complains on their attitudes to their current/prospective tenants. A guy was asking to fix the toilet and he heard "You put kitchen towel in it!" |

| Recent Review: | | I could go on for pages....But, I'll try to make this short.Under NO circumstances should anyone rent from these horrible people!!!!I rented a pretty crappy apartment from them at 106 E. Daniel--it was dirty, had bugs I couldn't get rid of, and the day i moved in there was no bed!!!!!I had to wait 2 days for them to bring me a mattress (the apt. comes furnished.)Also, they did not clean ANYTHING from the previous tenant before I moved in.My coffee table had a broken leg, the lamp shade was taped on the metal frame with BANDAIDS, and the cabinets were half torn off.I contacted the management about these issues, but they never did anything about it.But that's only half of the story...When I came back one saturday after winter break, i couldn't get in my apartment because they HAD CHANGED THE LOCKS!I recieved NO WARNING about this--they had my phone number, but never contacted me.They said that they changed the locks because my rent for January was 2 weeks late, which it was, but I had called the office and told them that I would pay it as soon as I got back into town, and I also would of course pay the late fee. Because it was the weekend there was nothing I could do until Monday.I called the emergency line and they NEVER CALLED ME BACK.So on Monday I went in to pay the rent and get the new key, they didn't apologize or anything, and were extremely rude.A few weeks later I called the management to find out why I had an extra $150 charge on my account even after my rent and fees were paid.The MANAGER (her name is Mary Ann) YELLED AT ME on the phone and CALLED ME A B***H!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!As if that's not bad enough, after i moved out I got a bill for three hundred something dollars, which said that they had to repaint and do all this work on the apartment since I lived there.But the place was in that condition when I moved in!!!!Unfortunately, I couldn't prove it, and they ended up taking me to court and I was forced to pay it.PLEASE PEOPLE--always take photos when you move in to a new place, i have ever since then.The checklist that you fill out when you move in is worthless.DO NOT RENT FROM UNIVERSITY GROUP!!!!!!!!!I CANT EVEN TELL YOU HOW HORRIBLE THEY ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
