| Recent Review: | | The apartment was great. Parking is unbelievable and the location is just ideal. The neighborhood is friendly and everyone has either a child or a dog or both. Tes, my landlord, is very nice and responds promply and efficiently to any problem. |

| Recent Review: | | The maintenance is poor, it takes at least 3 calls, one finally of you yelling to get a response from anyone in the office. As well the buildings are off of an alley, excessive traffic and noise. The walls are paper thin, so unless you are a freak and enjoy hearing your neighbors going at it, you will go nuts. Not enough washers and dryers for the number of tenants.And they are in need of tenants because they are offering no rent raises if you release, don't be fooled. |

| Recent Review: | | Up and coming neighborhood status raised rents in most of this area but our rent is reasonable.Excellent space.Floor to ceiling windows (almost).Tenent are young, good for artists and students, pet friendly, bills are not included but cheap.Apartment is always cold, no need for A/C.Maintinence is slooow, and always get a reciept for your rent, but there is easy (free) street parking.Some aspects of the neighborhood are shady but this street is very safe and the view of the boulevard is great.Lots of trees, near restraunts, shopping and public trans, I love our neighborhood. |

| Recent Review: | | The apartment itself needs allot of fixing, the heaters are old and waste allot more gas. Located at North ave and maplewood, near Western ave. in chicago. A couple of weeks after I moved in i found a mouse in the kitchen. Our lights went off one day and we couldn't contact the landlord to get into the basement. The landlord and his wife are two grouchy people especially the old man. they fooled me at first and turned out to be complete ass holes. The landlord slashed all four of my tires and also my boyfriends van tires (all 4) from then on i just didn't want to bother with him. Didn't even try to get revenge. they will suffer for the misery they cause to their tenants.don't recommend this place at all. tooo many problems and the landlord won't hire anyone he want's to do everything himself or send his wife to do it for him i lived there for six months and was so happy when i got out. |

| Recent Review: | | The building was converted from a hotel to an apartment and has good interior as well as exterior.However, the elevator is old and outdated, the plumbing is bad but the janitorial service is very good.Basically, the apartments are not worth what therent is dictating ($1,100 and up for two-bedrooms/2baths or $975 for two-bedrooms/one bath). Parking in the buildings lot is $150 a month extra. |

| Recent Review: | | I've lived in McClurg Court for 4 years and have watched the building deteriorate each and every year ... to start, it's an older building with many problems with frequently broken elevators and poorly functioning heat/ac (e.g. ask the management office about their recent adventures with their broken radiators in which a pipe burst in the middle of winter gushing water onto the street from the 20th floor A-tower while the heat went out for all several hundred tenants on a zero degree day) ... the most disturbing trend I've seen are the number of violent and questionable tenants being allowed to rent (I know about several recent evictions and have personally witnessed an attack in my own hallway) ... obviously, in a larger apartment like McClurg there will be some problems, but the most disappointing aspect of all these many problems is that management is characteristically slow and unresponsive (e.g. there was little response or action with respect to the attack I witnessed and little was done to make the rest of the tenants feel safer) ... McClurg, like most of its managers, is clearly a building way past its prime ... I'm moving out!!! Watch out for Theresa (aka Dr. No) in the management office b/c she's fine when renting you a space but becomes one of the most unpleasant, scheming, and unhelpful people I've ever encountered after you're paying the rent and need something from her ... Just my opinion, you can take your own chances .... |

| Recent Review: | | This peole are theives! Their apartments suck! They NEVERR fix anything! And the place is INFESTED with mice and roaches! They use NON-PROFESSIONALS to fix stuff around the place ..that is if they EVER GET AROUND TO IT! And my car got BROKEN INTO three times in three months! And the idiot cops didn't do a damn thing! The building is a dump and the rooms are too small! |
