| Recent Review: | | The condo is a very beautiful place.It is located in a quiet area, very safe and secure.The entrance is gated so its very private and the building is fairly new.It has hardwood floors and granite countertops throughout with basement storage and free laundry facilities.The appearance is well maintained.However, it does have its downfalls.It was certainly not made to throw any parties or gatherings in, since the building is very quiet.There is no smoking throughout the condo, and although everyone else in the building gets a parking spot, this particular condo does not get one.The balcony in the front is misleading; you can barely fit on the ledge.Although it is central air and heat, they only flow through the front rooms, leaving the back rooms unaffected.The kitchen appliances are fairly new, but the oven makes weird noises when being used.The neighbors are older, most have families, and usually complain about every little thing.It's a nice place, but its way too quiet for a person like me. |

| Recent Review: | | Cityfront Place is an excellent place to live if you enjoy hustle and bustle.Because it is so close to Navy Pier, it is a very busy touristy area.The apartments are spacious and the amenities are great, including a full health club with a jacuzzi, sauna, indoor swimming pool, lockers, etc.The parking is open to the public, which is a problem during major holidays because if the lot becomes full, even the tenants cannot retrieve their vehicles.The 24-hour maintenance service is awesome.The only problem that I have is with a doorman who has been with Habitat for many years who has a tendency of being rude and arrogant.After living here for 3 years I finally reported the problem and am waiting on resolution (will follow-up).All-in-all, I would recommend Cityfront Place. |

| Recent Review: | | This building as well as the connecting buildings (5216, 5218, and 5220) are not the places you want to be if you actually work for a living!Noisy neighbors that yell in and out of the windows from the courtyard galore!So much so, that since my move in date (February 2003), I've called the police so much that the dispatcher knows me by voice!In addition, to this, the on-site management/maintenance are so rude and lazy, that if anything should go wrong, you'll be better off fixing it yourself!The units are heated by leaky radiators that are controlled by a timer that completely shuts off in the middle of the night!So freezing in the winter is a given!There were numerous days this winter that the building didn't even have hot water....Don't ask for any accommodations, though!Believe me, you'd be fighting the ultimate losing battle!PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...HEED MY WARNING!DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS BUILDING! |
