| The good: wood floors and closet space The bad: roaches have been a problem in the past, the noise level is like a rap concert and your head is in the speaker, not to mention the squeaky floors that keep us up all night, EVERY night. Rude, ignorant neighbors are the norm. The staff does not understand English well and they may be prompt in trying to fix things but their efforts are so poor, they return several times before a job is done right, if it ever gets done right, which is rare. The office staff doesn't care and does nothing about legitimate complaints. They are extremely rude and unhelpful. Frankly, they act like they have the lowest IQ possible of a living organism, and that is a compliment. Hot water keeps going out. Public laundry insures that your clothes will be stolen and the machines don't work well. The heat in the winter may be free but it is so hot that you have to open a window and then get a sore throat and stuffy nose from the cold air. Car vandalism and stolen radios are the norm. Late night parking is impossible to find. There is a heroin house 1 block away (the police told me). Last month, a gang murder also 1 block away. The review about the Middle Eastern food stench and the Mexican music is accurate. If you have class, you don't belong here and will be part of the smallest minority group. If you move here, buy a gun, you are not safe and invest in earplugs unless you like insomnia. I dealt with this for 4 years because I was working so much that I was never home and it wasn't as big of a problem. Now that I have a regular schedule, this place is hell. Already have a new place lined up, can't wait to move. |
