Recent Review: I've been at Forest Pointe going on three years, waiting for the appropriate time to purchase a house. I'm a model tenant: quiet, pays on time, doesn't cause trouble. When my lease was up for renewal, I asked for some improvements to my aged bathroom simply to make it presentable considering it is an expensive unit. They said they would do it but not until I signed the lease. I countered I would do it if they amended the lease to include my terms or perform the repairs before I signed. Of course, they soundly refused to provide me any such reasonable assurance - yet they amended the lease with several of their new terms that penalize me heavily if I'm EVER late on rent. I guess even their good tenants haven't earned their good will or recognition. Disappointing, considering I've been a tenant at approximately 20 other apartment complexes across the US and most will at least demonstrate some good will, especially for longtime residents.
