| Recent Review: | | I moved to Illinois from Cleveland, Ohio in November of 2002.I looked at many apartments but liked the location and price of Salem Walk.Imagine my surprise on my very first Chicago night (40 degrees) when I found out I had no heat."opps" says invesco and several days (yes, DAYS) later, the heat is turned on.Oh, but that's not the end of the heating fiasco.In my two years at Salem Walk, I was without heat for a grand total of over 14 days.That doesn't even count those freezing cold nights before the heat is turned on.Let's not forget the grease caked on everything.Apparently the family who lived in the apartment before me loved cooking with grease.Everything from the cupboard doors to the light fixtureswere covered in grease.I had a professional come out TWICE to scrape the caked on grease off of things.The carpets and the floors were dirty, though they had been "professionally cleaned" according to Invesco.I also had a professional come out to clean the carpets TWICE while I lived there.Oh, and to top things off, Invesco had the nerve to charge me for carpet cleaning.There are so many little things I could comment about this leasing agency.But I'll sum it up here:I loved Salem Walk, but I would never lease from Invesco again.Not even if the rent was $500 less.Avoid Invesco. |
