| Recent Review: | | Management for Sunnycrest II changed recently, and because of this, the quality of the place has suffered immensely. They hired a security guard, because crime in the area increased. I doubt it is helping much, sadly.The apartment isn't bad looking, though the grounds aren't very attractive overall, and the construction in the field next to the apartment complex does not help matters much. If you want a pretty place to live, this is certainly not it.If something breaks, don't expect it to get fixed. All the work orders in the world cannot make these people care about what is broken in your apartment. The maintenance staff is either backed up with work orders, or simply does not care. Even if your toilet isn't bolted to the floor, or closet doors have come off, it's really not all that important to them.Recently, the office staff took a short vacation from their jobs with no notice to the tenants. The security guard was also gone for several days with no notice. If they needed to be reached for important reasons, they were not around. Funnily enough, they managed to make it back in time for the local news stations to interview them about their security. I wish they had interviewed me.Also, never go out of town for the holidays if you have one (1) $25 dollar late charge on your account for rent. When you return, there willl be a notice on your door threatening eviction, because $25 is apparently so important that it must be paid immediately to keep the world from ending.If you don't like being woken up at 7am on Sunday mornings by screaming kids and people stomping around in upper floor apartments, stay away from Sunnycrest II. If you don't like being offered illegal drugs by your neighbors, stay away from Sunnycrest II. If you like drafty doors that let snow into your apartment, try Sunnycrest II. If you enjoy these things, by all means, get an apartment at Sunnycrest II. |
