| Recent Review: | | Can hear both my neighbors stereo systems. Pipes have bust twice during cold weather. Carpets never cleaned after this. Had to throw a fit to get a deduction on rent for this becasue I ended up cleaning the carpets myself. Brown "stuff" coming from the exterior walls of the apartment. Have asked several times "What is this stuff?" and they just paint over it and never address what it really is.Birds nesting in old dryer vents in my apartment. It took them one month to fix! Roley Polly bugs and spiders always in apartment. Ceiling cracked was fixed then cracked again. Any requests to fix anything takes several weeks to get done. Property management will not return calls. When you do actually have the "honor" of talking with the property manager or whoever, they are the one who is doing a favor for you. For the money you would pay at this crap hole apartment complex you could get a house. This is honestly the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. What makes it even more frustrating is the attitude of most of the management staff. Some are OK but for the most part they suck and so do all of their apartments. I want to kick my own ass for even living at this place. The only positive about this place is the securtiy officer is a Marion County sherrif's deputy. He is more informative and caring about security concerns or noise problems than the management staff. The property manager, also is a very busy person becasue she has refused to meet with me regarding my complaints. Actually she is a coward. I am in the final month of my rent and after they got my last check they feel like they can ignore any problems, including noise and arguments w/other residents. I also talked to their boss, Joe Taylor, from Mid American Management company in Cleveland, OH. 216-771-4440. Feel free to call this guy about how great Idlewood is. He assured me someone from Idlewood would get in touch with me and they never did. So if you have a problem and the management staff doestnt want to deal with it they will just ignore you. I would tell anyone who is thinking of moving in this place to go else where. I have never been treated like this by any company in my life. The living conditions there are horrible and I ahvent had a normal nights sleep in 3 months. |

| Recent Review: | | these apartments are in the perfect location, it's true. but like the other person said, the managers don't care about you at all.once you've moved in, you can forget about ever hearing from them again. the maintenece guys were super cool and helpful, but only if you could catch them and tell them your problem.then you say "didn't the managers tell you?i called them tons of times!' and they're like "no, this is the first we're hearing of it."sad.investments unlimited, huh?how about "investments severely limited due to our incompetence at returning phone calls and treating our tenants like people".i would rather live anywhere else than a building owned by these idiots. |

| Recent Review: | | This complex has went down hill in the past year. The gateman hasn't been seen since the first six months we lived here. I have never seen security anywhere. If you call them they blow you off. It took 2 months and many phone calls to get our furnance fixed. 3 months and many more calls to get the leak in dinngroom ceiling repaired!The rent goes up but the service goes down. |

| Recent Review: | | Moved in about 5 years ago. It was a very quiet community, safe and clean.I know the old saying that everything must change, nothing stays the same. But this is much to much changing for me.Kids wait for there schoo buses in the inclosed hallway. I have 3 other neighbors and none of us have pre-teens or teens that attend school. They are loud destructive and disrepectful. They leave our hallway smelling of urine, leaving garbage and graffitti everywhere.The office, IPD and IPS police have basically told me that they can't do anything about it.So I think it's time to look for another apartment.I am writing this in strict confidence!!!! |

| Recent Review: | | THE LEASING STAFF IS WONDERFUL, AND THEIR ALWAYS THERE TO HELP. FOR BEING SO OLD, THESE APARTMENTS ARE WONDERFUL. THE ONLY THING I WOULD CHANGE IS THE SHUTTERS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE APARTMENTS AND THE FACT YOU SHARE A PATIO WITH YOUR NEIGHBOR (IF YOU'RE UPSTAIRS) IT'S BIG AT LEAST. I WOULD DEFINETLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO APARTMENT SEEKERS. |

| Recent Review: | | Everything at Piedmont needs a makeover.The parking lots are sinking into the ground as well as the sidewalks.Everything is covered in duck poop.Several times they have repaired the water at the complex and turned it off completely for several hours.My apartment has been painted over thousands of times.It is definitely not a nice apartment but it is also extremely cheap.Piedmont does offer decent deals. |

| Recent Review: | | I have to agree with the first review.On top of all that is the increasing crime in the complex.In the last month, there has been a murder, numerous break-ins to vehicles and apartments, one which recently happened to my sister.Management has refused to do anything about it and when asked about breaking a lease, they said "sorry about you, read your contract, we are NOT to provide for safety."I have thought about getting the media involved to take care of the issues there.So I advice everyone to stay away from here.It's not worth risking your life in this drug infested complex. |

| Recent Review: | | This is my first apartment and I cannot wait til my lease is over! I have had no air conditioning for 2 months now. I have gone to the office many times but still nobody has come to fix it. There is a major roach infestation that is disgusting. I would never live here again. I can't wait to move to somewhere better. Stay away from this dump!!!!! |
