| Recent Review: | | The apartments are very nice in size, however, the pool needs a lot of work and is rarely cleaned properly.There's cracks all around the pool edge and the chairs at the poolside are old, dirty, and torn up.The apartments themselves are older, about 35 years, I think.They need a lot of repair.In my building, the lower level apartments have a good deal of water damage every time it rains even a little bit.The whole building smells.I moved to this building from a lower level apartment across the street in the same complex and it had the same problems.The buildings smell like a combination of onions and moldy, wet dog.The clubhouse isn't much to brag about, but the girls that work there are nice and friendly.If you have a problem in the apartment, however, don't look for it to be fixed any time soon.I had sewer backing up in my tub from the toilet and it took them 8 days to come look at it and even then I spent another 3 days with the toilet in my main bathroom removed and sitting in the tub until the maintenance guy had time to come back and fix it.The noise buffer between the apartments is non-existant.You hear everything from the upper and lower levels and that doesn't count what can't be helped from the courtyard.The one big point that really bothers me and is why I don't want to renew my lease is that the police are here at the complex 2-3 times every week.There are kids around here who make a habit of getting into trouble.There are a number of couples who enjoy public brawls.A few weeks, the fire department was called to extinquish a car fire at the building across from mine!There is just too much happening around here for me.I want some place quiet and this isn't it! |
