| Recent Review: | | Amli of lexington farms who are a sister branch to say in kind words suck major rear end...there maintenance staff spends more time picking there butts than fixing things, the apartments look pretty at first, but trust me it really is held together by crazy glue and duct tape, if you think you want to live here don't forget your wall patching supplies, and hopefully a really good lawyer for being screwed into such a great deal, the only nice thing about the whole crappy place is nothing, the leasing office people look down there noses at anyone who comes in except if you are coming in with an armored truck full of fresh cash for them.Don't ever live here and waste your precious money, or sanity...unless your really patient and can wait a few months to have one thing fixed or you like repatching your walls when the paint starts falling off.cheap worthless shitty apartments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Recent Review: | | I'e moved quite a bit in the past 12 years--mostly into and out of apartments. I really wanted to find a place I could be happy in for at least a year or more. Initially, I thought AMLI at Regents Center was it.Boy was I wrong.As the title suggests, this was the worst apartment living experience I've ever had. The management is as unprofessional as it gets. The grounds are unsafe and dirty most of the time. In the 1.5 years I lived there, there were at least three peeping toms and countless stolen/broken-into cars that were reported to the police. If you are a single gal, do yourself a favor and don't even consider these apartments!Another interesting note that I must mention: as soon as I moved in to my generally clean looking apartment, the carpet mysteriously started showing stains and buckling. Through a rigorous complaining session with the manager, I came to find that they knew the pad under the carpet needed to be changed because one of the privious tenents had large dogs that had apparently taken major liberties with the carpet...And the buckling?? Too bad I was told. If I wanted to pay to have the carpet replaced I could do so, but otherwise, forget about it. And that was the mentality of the place the entire time I was there.Do yourself a huge favor and stay the heck away from this place! |

| Recent Review: | | Do NOT rent at Aspen Lodge. They have a serious bug problem. I was constantly seeing spiders and cockroaches in my apartment. I complained to the staff who would send someone to spray, but it never helped. Speaking of the staff, they dress in a very trashy way. And the manager has a real attitude. Another thing that bothered me was that I?d always see nails and screws in the parking lot. I think the nails were falling off the roof of the carport and a lot of tenants would be working on their cars and would leave nails, screws, soda cans, and other trash all over the place. I eventually got a giant screw stuck in my tire and had to change it right there. I complained to the staff, but saw no improvement. The apartments themselves are spacious, but nothing special. There?s not enough natural sunlight, the carpets are bad enough where you don?t want to walk around barefoot, and the tiles in the shower look they?re ready to fall off. Stay away from Aspen Lodge. |

| Recent Review: | | I lived at Centennial Park Apts for approximately 4 months and had the worst experience. The manager was very unhelpful and never responsive to your needs. She was never in the office, and if she was she was always on the phone with personal calls. The assistant manager was available, but of course was not helpful either. They were very unfriendly. The only staff members that was helpful and friendly was the maintenance employees. They were always available to help you if you needed something, and worked very hard to keep the grounds neat and tidy. If you are looking for a place to live, I do not recommend or suggest this community. All I can say is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep looking and I assure you, you will find a better deal in Overland Park. |

| Recent Review: | | Well unless you cannot afford to pay for your monthly utilities do not move here.For one the insulation is horrible, if you live on a bottom apartment you can hear your upstairs neighbors walking around regardless if they are tip toeing or not.And even in your own apartment you feel like an elephant because the carpet is so thin you are practiclly walking on wood.Then we have the roaches and other bugs that no matter how many times you have the exterminator come and spray they always come back. ( and I am a clean freak so I know it has nothing to do with me)They do a very poor job of cleaning up the apartment before you move in.They said they remodeled the bathrooms before we moved in and it looks like someone did a piss poor job because the tile is chipping and falling apart and the stand up shower looks like it is from the 80's.The only advantage that you have is being able to save on utilities because they pay for them all.You can't even have a bbq. That sucks too. |

| Recent Review: | | I don't know if things used to be different, but we've lived here for about 5 months and haven't had any problems. We've always been treated with respect by all of Plaza Garden's employees. The townhouse apartments are truely wonderful for the price. I haven't heard anything negative from anyone else who lives around us either. My husband has heard a few rumors about the owner, but who knows how true they are. I'm wondering why I keep reading all of these negative reviews on different sites about Plaza Gardens. We plan on renewing our lease for another year when it's up. I would highly recommend Plaza Gardens to anyone. |

| Recent Review: | | Maintenance is VERY POOR!When I moved in, my dishwasher leaked and it took 3 calls to maintenance to fix the problem.I called 2 weeks ago to have my refrigerator fixed and it's still broken.An entire block of mailboxes (including mine) didn't lock for 2 weeks because the lock was broken and there was no sense of urgency to have it fixed.Screens were missing from windows, miniblinds in the bedroom didn't match and glass was in the carpet upon moving in.Construction of the apartments is far from stellar, as my countertop rests atop two 2x4s and not the cabinet beneath.You can hear everything people above you are doing!The people in the office are usually nice, but still nothing is done with a sense of urgency.Parking is much better since most people on the bottom floor of my building moved out.However, my car was keyed a few months after I moved here.Don't make the mistake of moving here - it will be the most horrible year of your life! |
