| i have lived in this apartment complex for 6 months and i have had more problems than good. when we first looked at the apartment, of course, the neighbors were at school/work and we had no power to hear the ac/heat run. the location is alright... if in the summer you dont mind being kept up until 3am by partying neighbors. since it is next to nku, most residents are college students. since there are no trees to block the noise, and buildings are facing eachother, no matter where the party is, you hear it. more on the ac/heat... you cant sleep with it on. you cant watch tv with it on. in the winter, youll either freeze, or not sleep because of the noise. in the summer, youll be burning up and staying awake because of the noisy neighbors, or cant sleep because of the ac. the walls are paper thin. we hear everything our neighbors are doing. showering, singing in the shower, love making, everything. you can even smell whatever they are cooking or when they are washing clothes. the smells seep through the walls. its WAY overpriced for the size. a one bedroom for 600+... not ideal. the parking lot is terrible. there is no room for friends cars if you decided to have someone visit. although, i can go out to my car whenever i feel like it and NOT feel threatend. the staff is okay. the maint guys kind of know what they are doing, although the landscaping is in very poor shape. with my rent going up in july, i dont plan on living here again. i would suggest this place if you like things that are way overpriced and overrated. |
