| Recent Review: | | I've had a terrible experience at Beaumont Farm Apartments.Not only was the move-in botched thanks to incompetant office staff, but moving out was even worse.Maintenance never managed to fix the problems we had, the place was overpriced and had very few amenities.I would not recommend living at Beaumont Farms. |

| Recent Review: | | When we tried to renegotiate a new lease they literally lauged at us.Karen, the manager, can be very rude.The noise level has gone up over the last two years, it used to be quiet, now you here the occasional party thumping from accross the parking lot.The fitness center looks good, but machines are broken and it NEVER seems to be clean.The good points are location, but you can do a lot better for your money in the Tates Creek area. |

| Recent Review: | | I lived at Downing Place Townhouses for two years...but I regret giving them a dime after all the headaches I went through.First of all, the properties are not well-maintained.When we moved in, our carpet was nasty and the place stunk like cigarette smoke.During our occupancy, we had a number of problems with our main drain being clogged (causing a major water backup which flooded our entire downstairs).In addition, by the time we moved out, there had been a number of violent crimes which took place nearby (when I say nearby...I mean close to our front door) including a shooting / murder.When we moved out, my roommate and I spent six hours cleaning every nook and cranny of the apartment...we left that place spotless!Unfortunately, the management is pretty classless and it's clear that they will do whatever it takes to make $200 to help offset the cost of our leaving the property...they refused to refund us our security deposit!!!I would highly recommend you avoid this property...the rent is cheap there for a reason...it's a real dump and the people there are jerks.RENTERS BEWARE!!! |

| Recent Review: | | Whoever is reading this, I beg you to save yourself some trouble and do not rent from this place no matter what they tell you, and what they promise.I did not know it when I moved in here, but an 18 yo. girl was shot and killed here on September 16, 2004, about 30 yards from where I now live.It doesn't look like it at first, but this is an extremely bad part of town!Do yourself a favor and don't rent here.Believe me, I am a poor college student, and tried to save money here.If I had one chance, I would go back in time and pay the extra money somewhere else gladly- and I'm a penny pincher.Another important note- it seems this property's name is continually changed to conceal the bad things happening here.It has now been renamed again to Archstone Green.They are also attempting to charge me another month's rent, after the lease expires, since I did not tell them that I was leaving in a written letter.I talk to those people all the time, and they were very well aware of my leaving at the end of the spring semesterIf you have any questions, please email me at my address.I do not want this fate to befall on another person.forgive me for my lude email name. |

| Recent Review: | | I agree it was nice at first--now my lease is up in may and i can not wait to get out of this mexican ghetto--you live all around nasty dirty mexicans who play music non stop--they are so dirty and let their kids run crazy!!Also, we had never seen one bug in our apt until they moved in and now we have seen 2 roaches come down from a leak upstairs!It has never been fixed along with our shower and water leak --plus you can take a hot shower b/c it goes cold in seriously about 3 minutes---i thought this was great at first and so affordable, but it is a dump and no one not even the office staff act like they give a shit--and there is always trash everywhere, even a plastic bag that has been on a tree for over a month now--please find somewhere else--i wont even walk outside alone==somebody got robbed here---beware |

| Recent Review: | | It is a nice play to live since it is very close to UK Campus, just 7 minutes to Patterson Office Tower and the Library, but since the Hospital is right there it is very noisy because of the Helicopters. It is pretty expensive(a 3 bedroom apartment is $990) but the aparments themselves are nice. |

| Recent Review: | | I just moved to the Merrick place, and I absolutely love it. Its really quiet and has none of the noise that comes with apartment buildings. The property is well maintained. Laundry facilities are spotless. Although the Merrick is older than some of the apartment buildings in Lexington, its in much better condition than the newer ones. And not to forget, the staff at the Merrick are wonderful and really helpful. |

| Recent Review: | | Oak Grove is a LOVELY community, no doubt...absolutely beautiful apartments, gorgeous landscaping, awesome maintenance team. I wish I could stay, but after a year, I can't.I moved in to Oak Grove on a special...it was SO good that I questioned what would happen when the time came to renew my lease. I was assured that if the rent went up, it wouldn't go up "that much." Instead, when they asked me to renew, it was with a whopping $112 rent increase!!!Oak Grove is an awesome place to live, but if you move in with a special, be aware of the market rates...or you may find yourself moving in a year. |

| Recent Review: | | I originally gave this place high marks but I have since changed my mind.When I moved in (around the start date of school) everything was fine.Since then management has neglected to tend to the grounds and it has taken a small disaster in my bathroom to have a plumbing problem rectified.The grounds look like a garbage dump and it took about three months for them to clean up and repair the welcome sign that somebody crashed thier car into.Not to mention they have been renting recently to some very shady looking characters. |
