| Recent Review: | | I have only been here at Ashgrove for a few months but I have to tell you that its been a great experience so far.The management staff is courtious and helpful and I never have any trouble with noise.Also, I love the sinlge story design on the apartments.It nice to not hear the people above you walking around at all hours of the night.Yeah we dont have swimming pools or party rooms here but I dont miss that at all, I gladly trade all those things for a little peace and quiet. |

| Recent Review: | | There are much better apartments for the price. The management is very bad. If something needs to be fixed be prepared to wait a very long time. Even phone calls concerning problems are never returned. This apartment complex is only about the money, not the people that pay them the money! |

| Recent Review: | | They have made improvements, anything looks good after the evil that is River City Properties (Satan's choice for fine living)left, BUT, I have not seen maintenance here in about a year. They promised me the moon and did not do much of anything. Plus the maintenance crew are too chatty and have filthy mouths even though there are quite a bit fo children running around, they tell all they know after they leave your apt. and you can her them outside making fun of some of the residents. Also, they say they do not tolerate voilent tenants and will throw them out, but someone here was threatened by another tenant, and the office was made aware, but this person still lives there. The office staff is friendly, but does not do much in making things happen. |

| Recent Review: | | When I first saw Breckenridge Square I thought it'dbe a great place to live.The staff there began the events that eventually caused my roommate and I to never speak again.They frequently lost the checks that I *handed* them for rent (I wrote the rent checks as my roommate gave me half the rent) and when approached about the situation told me that they never had anyone by the description I had given them working for them, the next day when I dropped off the new rent check the person I'd originally handed it to was talking to the manager... the person was *indeed* an employee.I overlooked that until I recieved notice from my bank that they had tried to cash BOTH rent checks (even though I'd put a stop payment on the first) and they claimed they hadn't tried to.Both went to the bank on the EXACT same day.They also found it necessary to do all of our maint. work at 2 or 3am.Then *denied* even going into the apartment.I'd lived at the apartment for MONTHS when they finally fixed the speed bumps, and they towed my car when they messed up the days that they were zoning the lots, without even telling us that they were changing the days around.I would never recommend to my WORST enemy to live here.Everyone needs *something* to keep them sane... and living here it's impossible.I couldn't even completemy lease it was SO bad.8 months after I signed it, I had to break it... it was SO bad. |

| Recent Review: | | I've had two people live below me, both have been extremely loud. The one living under me currently has blared his bass until 2am too many times for me to count. The other people on my block have recently taken up comparing their car's bass on maximum volume. I was at work, so my wife (VERY pregnant, mind you) went outside and told them to turn it off. The response she got was, "S'up, bi***." That's just par for the course here. At approximately 11:13pm every night, one guy drives by, revving his engine or mufflerless car. At 3am, people drive by listening to their car music at full volume.When I first moved in, my refrigerator didn't work. I went to the office to let them know about it. Someone came out and worked on it, but it wasn't fixed. So I went to the office again. For a week and a half, nobody came, so I went back. Still nobody came. THIS WENT ON FOR THREE MONTHS. Holy Moses, people. Stay away from here. |

| Recent Review: | | Derby Run is so so apartments. I lived here for about year now, and 4 cars has been stolen only from my parking lot, which is not that big. Apartments are very close to Moore high school, so kids pass through parking lot which is in open, so they scratch cars for no reason. Staff is NOT that helpfull, old manager was great but she is not working here no more, so this new really has no respect for tenants. Maintnace on other hand is not bad. Move here only if you have to, becouse it is too expensive after you add about $100.00 extra a month for heating, AC, garbage and water, which is NOT included in rent. |

| Recent Review: | | If you want the bathwater from upstairs to come up into your bathroom drain...and it take the management to take 2 weeks to fix it, this place is for you.When the water heater from upstairs floods your apartment, and managements response is to let you use their fan to dry the carpet (and take it back after 2 days)...this place is for you.I should have known better when I was shown one apartment, and as soon as the lease was signed they pointed out that my apartment was actually another one, that something was wrong with this place. The only thing that could improve this place is to have it torn down and have some nice aprtments built on the site.It's a good location, but Roth Realty has got to be the worst landlord in Louisville. Once I moved out, I realized I could do a lot better...so can you. |

| Recent Review: | | I, too, have seen the large aggressive dogs not on leashes.When I notified the management team of this, they didn't seem to care.Just yesterday a rottweiller was running around our complex and was heading for my daughter before I picked her up & ran inside.I think that the staff is too busy trying to make a fast buck on renters who need a place for large agressive dogs to care about the renters that they currently have.I will NOT be renewing my lease this years.If you have small children, I do not recommend renting at Mallard Crossing. |
