| | | | Review Title: Lock, Bolt, Barricade Your Door! | | | | | | Reviewer: Anonymous | | | | Review Date: 2/24/05 | | | | | | | Rate This Apartment | | | | | | | Crime, Crime, & more Crime.My two friends & I shared a 3BR twonhouse on the second floor at Fairway View.Early one Sunday morning my roommate woke up for work and found a man walking into our living room (he managed to climb up onto our balcony and open the sliding glass door).Luckily when he saw my roommate he ran out & jumped off the balcony.We called the police, who did nothing, and spoke with management, who were completely disinterested & blamed the breakin on us for not properly locking our door.A door that was not provided with proper locking in the first place.Days later, after speaking with other tenants, we learned of numerous others who experienced breakins, and the management was well-aware, and did very little.The management is very nice prelease signing, but once you're bounded by contract they could care less about you.This review is being written about 3 years since I lived there, so things could have changed, but I wouldn't bet my security on it. | | | | |
