| Recent Review: | | I lived here for a little over a year. As a single female right out of college, the price was right for me. HOWEVER, the neighborhood is not safe for a woman living along. The complex is gated, but the gate was almost always broken. At night, thugs loved to just hang out around the area. On several occassions, I have wittnessed drug deals. If you are new to Baton Rouge, I would avoid anything on Blvd. De Province if safety is an issue.Noise is also a problem. While most of the noise problems are not the management's fault, it is an issue. Sirens and loud "boom" cars have kept me awake at night.I understand that not everyone's budget will allow to live in luxury, but I feel that there are other options available in BR that are safer with comparable prices. |

| Recent Review: | | Nice place to live, clean, safe and good maintenance. Their landscaping is very well keep and upkeep. They have a good maintenance service. The staffs are friendly, helpful, and good service to their residents. They held a few events in a year where I get to meet our neighbor, which I never have in my previous apartment. I thought this was nice. If youre looking for an apartment, you owe it to yourself to come by and look at Live Oak apartment. |

| Recent Review: | | This apartment complex is the best I've ever lived in.The management is friendly, and if you ever have a problem with anything in your apartment, it is fixed within two days (and that's if they are going slow). It's a gated community with a sparkling pool, friendly neighbors, and a quiet serene atmosphere.Live here and you'll never want to live anywhere else. |

| Recent Review: | | I have lived here for a year, and have had problems with upstairs neighbors spilling things through the balcony onto our patio area, like cigarette butts and paper trash, not to mention the 3rd floor once had someone vomiting on their balcony, going to 2nd and our 1st floor level. management didn't do much but clean it after several days complaining. Upstairs there is a lot of fighting and wrestling, sounds like the ceiling will cave in. We call mgmt and they never respond. A dog on 3rd floor used to spill dog food and urine through to our level, after complaining, still nothing done for a while, but floors on upstairs balconies must be closed in, not slats as they are now. Parking is good but we are moving out, don't feel safe there, as neighbors trash the parking lots, fight a lot, gates are not secure as tailgaters come through constantly with no problem, and complaints are on deaf ears. Not a safe community - roomy units, yes, parking good, yes, mgmt trying to help with matters is desirable. Otherwise, the pool is nice, small washateria, but maintenance is slow responding, and mgmt needs a lot of improvement. Kitchen is poorly set up, dishwasher opens in front of the sink, impossible to fill dishwasher without leaning way over sink. |

| Recent Review: | | They have accused me of not paying rent 2 months in a row even though they had already cashed my checks. Eveything breaks in them and it takes them forever to fix anything. they will try and charge you fees for everything and the first week i moved in they kept putting papers on my door saying i owed them money but one good thing is that if you don't pay them for stupid fees they try to charge they will forget every now and then i have gotten 3 or 4 $100 fines that i just didn't pay and they forgot |

| Recent Review: | | We are in our second year here at Regency. Everyone in the office are very professional, friendly and helpful.Maintenance will fix any problems the day of the complaint or atleast the next day. Location is good. Grocery store, bank,vet,Walgreens,Blockbuster,restaurants all nearby going every direction.Parking has not been a problem thus far. All apartments have a washer and dryer.My only complaint is that not all residents pick up their dog's poop. Management has addressed this in monthly bulletins but I still see dog owners turn away from the poop as if it will disappear. I would recommend living here. |

| Recent Review: | | The manager, Charlotte, is untrustworthy and unprofessional. Impossible to get her to do anything including things she has promised she would do. "I have to do what my regional manager tells me" will be her answer to everything. That includes keeping your deposit, by the way. Another explanation she offered was "it's in your lease". When I came back 2 minutes later with the lease in my hands - she locked herself in the office, closed the blinds, and sent out two maintenance guys to ask me to leave. Some manager, eh? |

| Recent Review: | | Worst place Ive ever lived at - and I've seen quite a few. Noisy and dirty, and getting worse every year. The only area that looks pretty is the spot in front of the leasing office. Theexercise roomis a cemetery of broken machines. The maintenance guy comes to convince you that you do not have a problem instead of fixing it. No heat insulation to speak of huge energy bills. Terrible manager (Charlotte Dupuy or something close to that) very nice and will promise anything until you sign the lease. Once you have signed it, you are out of luck. Lies to your face, and when the lies are challenged gets rude and hostile in an instant. I have never experienced anything as depressing as that place and never been so happy to move out. |

| Recent Review: | | I might agree that the apartment complex is a bit unsafe. But, I am from Decatur, Georgia (an upper middle class community of professional black people in the Metro Atlanta area) and everything about BATON ROUGE is scarey to me, not my apartment complex. Also rapes, drugs, and gunshots happen everywhere here. The murder capital is 45 minutes away. Lastly, don't froget that quite a bit of white people are involved in rapes, drugs, and the shooting off of guns everywhere here in Louisiana. Truthfully, the apartment complex was not bad, is the state of Louisiana bad because of a few bad people? My parents wanted me to hurry and graduate because they were afraid of my safety in BATON ROUGE, not where I lived. It doesn't matter where you live if the crime is EVERYWHERE!!! Yes, I would recomend this apartment complex, I just wouldn't recommend the city. |

| Recent Review: | | great location, close to a lot of stuff, but a bit pricey for what you get. and God forbid you have any maintnence issues. very slow to respond, or doesnt call back at all. my ac sucks and i cant get it serviced, my electric bills are through the roof. other apartments have been fixed up, new ac, new carpet, fresh paint, the works, but mine was untouched before i moved in, and desperately needs the work its not getting. my place was broken into owner has no insurance coverage. |
