| Recent Review: | | When they say they have a quiet, serene environment for students and don?t allow partying, they mean it. I lived here two years as a graduate student and it was everything a student could want--quiet, safe, and well-maintained, and good value. The owners are constantly upgrading the property. My apartment was very spacious and had been completely renovated. It says a lot that the same managers have lived on the property since 1989. They couldn?t have been more helpful. The location is very convenient to LSU and on the LSU bus route, but far enough away to avoid all that college congestion. I could not be happier for having lived here. |

| Recent Review: | | Insufficient parking, security gate is a joke, staff will nickel-and-dime you for every penny they can (even to park in front of your own building, which they cover and the CHARGE you for!)Toilet was clogged and carpet stained when we moved in, number fell off the door and they fixed it with electrical tape!Neighbors are noisy and come in at all hours of the night.I have lived in several apartments in Baton Rouge, and would recommend Mansions in the Park or any other place besides Bluebonnet |

| Recent Review: | | I am the MOM and this is my review.The looks are great when you first come to the complex but when you get inside you notice the workmanship.This complex was built CHEAP.The trim throughout the entire apt is cheap the bathroom tub surround is cheap and the cabinets are cheap.I have a son here and for $600 plus I would think we would have had a lot more.My son is in the band and the band field is a convience for him as is being close to campus.That is about all I think we got from living here.I do not think the price for this complex is worth it, at least not to me.I think the size was fine,except the shape of the bedrooms, the closets were large and great.There was no access out the sliding glass door.What was that? Gates across the opening so they could not get out, even on the ground floor!The hallways are cement and not finished so they were always bringing in dust on their feet.The carpet is light and shows all the dirt.This was close to campus but I would not come back for another year.I would not pay this money for this complex again. |

| Recent Review: | | I really wish I had read these reviews before signing my lease.This place is more awful than any amount of words can ever describe.Kiss your deposit goodbye as soon as you sign the check and pray your roommate doesn't skip out on their share of rent because they will try to make you pay it.I totally agree that the complex gets a throwback from the towing company because my car was towed also with a parking tag and it cost me $180 that they wouldn't reimburst. Tiger Plaza is obviously a noisy place as it is located behind the bars in Tigerland, but the noise isn't really what bothered me.The gates are just a scam to charge more money because they are often dysfunctional and there isn't even a fence behind Tiger Bar, so anyone can get in.The management at this place is completely incompetent and they are very rude and hard to communicate with. Our move-in check list was lost by the front office, and they are still accusing my roommates and I of damages that already existed when we moved in.After a year I am recieving calls from a debt collector for charges of those preexisting damages, which my roommates and I have refused to pay(following the advice of a lawyer). I wouldn't reccomend Tiger Plaza to a dog.This place is a horrible excuse of an apartment complex that makes it profits by scamming poor college students. |

| Recent Review: | | For$250/month what can you expect?But things have not been going great there.In the past year we've had alot of car breakins, there's alot of loitering at night, Old apartment manager seemed to use trickery to get us to sign up.Promises were not kept.Security lights have been burnt out probably 90% of our stay.New management seems to be turning the place around, but still needs ALOT of work.On site Maintenance worker very friendly and knows his stuff, but things that have to be called out for (plumbing, electricity etc) take FOREVER...At night when trying to sleep its either listen to the electrical plant buzzing at night or very very loud car stereos loitering in the parking lot.Not recommended...Glad we got out. |

| Recent Review: | | i had a bad experience living here.The traffic from the IBM building next door makes it difficult to get to sherwood forest between 4 pm and 6 pm.Expect a 20 minute delay. Also, the gate system doesn't work for letting guests in.Lots of times there will be 5-6 cars backed up because a guest is blocking the gate access and it gets hung up. Very little parking up front.Especially after people return home from work. Someone was robbed there when i lived there.management asked for information 4 days after the robbery. Overall, I think it is too expensive for the money.Better places elsewhere. |
