Recent Review: If not for the cheap rent there would be no reason to live in any Kamin's apartments. I lived in Colonial Village and it was the worst 9 months of my life. Apartment smelled funny from the day we moved in, we would burn candles to cover it up, but when you returned from class it would stink again. The floors squeaked and we could hear everything that was going on in the apartment above us and with the sorroiety girl living above us, that was an awful lot. The fire alarm at the top of the stairs beeped shortly after we moved in and we called about it multiple times but it was never fixed.Maintenance was substandard and the rental office people should learn a thing or two about manners becuase they have none. Unless you would like to have people being rude to you all the time, don't bother with Kamins. They are nice right up until you give them that first rent check and sign the lease, it is all down hill from there.This was the second time I had to interact with them and I should have learned from my first time. The first time I was supposed to take over a lease in Lantern Court in Sunderland, I called them one night after business hours, so I left a message on their machineto say I would definitely be taking the apartment and would be bringing my check to them that afternoon as they had told me I could do. The next afternoon when I brought the check in they told me they hadn't gotten my message in time and had rented the apartment.
