When I moved in, the apartment was filthy even though they claimed that they had cleaned it. Rods and shelves were missing from my closet (which they still haven't replaced after 10 months of living here).

Parking is a nightmare in the winter if you can't get a spot in the back lot (which is first come first serve) b/c you can't park overnight on the street durning the winter in Newton. And there is no public parking nearby. Risk having your car towed otherwise.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, the heating system is older than the founding fathers and you can't control the heat level. You can turn it off or on but that's it. It got so hot in my apt. that I had to open all my windows in the dead of winter for fear I would incinerate in my sleep.
