| Recent Review: | | The 'management' at this place continually plumbs new depths in service levels.First, the elevator went on the blink. The building has five floors so this is not a small inconvenience. They promised to fix it in 4 weeks but got it done only after five months.During this time, the water would be shut off periodically while they worked on something or the other.The heat wasn't working either, and I had to call Code Enforcement thrice.The door buzzer is non-functional, meaning you have to walk down 4 floors to let anyone in. The door lock is broken so you have to jiggle it and coax it to let you in even if you had a key. To top it all off, they didnt pay the electric bill for the common areas, so we got served a notice from the utility company. |

| Recent Review: | | The apartments at the Royal Worcester are gorgeous, but there are some drawbacks that they won't tell you about.First, the buildling has not been updated since it was made into apartments in the 1980s, so things are going to break (e.g. garbage disposal, closet doors, etc.).That's understandable, and if you call maintenance they won't charge you for it (unless it's completely your fault) but here's the issue...maintenance never comes!If they come, they usually come when you're not home, and then they move your stuff around and don't bother putting it back.I had to complain for 4 months before they would replace my closet door, 2 months before they would replace the shelf (which also had the rod attached to it), and 9 months before they replaced the blinds.This is just a few of the issues I had.Also, the showers might take as much as 45 minutes of running the water to get to a tepid temperature.The management is not friendly at all, and the pool is over chlorinated and full of dirt.The windows are loud whenever the wind blows, and they are not sealed off properly, allowing whatever temperature air to come in, and making it impossible for you to control the temperature in the apartment.As far as the parking situation goes, the management doesn't do a good job of enforcing the sticker system, so anyone can get into the garage if they follow you in, and don't plan on finding a spot in the lot/garage/street when it snows.Finally, the heating and central air have only on/off controls, and when the heat is working, the a/c is not, and vice versa.So, if you're looking for a place that looks nice, this is for you.But if you care to have things in working order, and if you're a fan of a timely manner, then you should consider looking elsewhere. |
