| Recent Review: | | I have been living her for years. when i moved in i had problems with a neighbor and told management if they didn't care of the problem i would move. the management had him out within the month! It's an old community that does not have alot of ammenities. I have enjoyed my time here. The Management and Mainteinance are very nice and helpful. It might take me 48 hrs. to get something fixed but they always come out with a smile and complete there project in a timely manner. Overall it's a nice place to live if you go in knowing it's an older place with out frills. |

| Recent Review: | | This place is horrible.I didn't have a working stove for the first four months of my residence there.My heat broke and it took a week for them to fix.The management staff are always rude unless you give them a really hard time!There is never any parking unless you are parked by 5pm.The area itself is not a safe area.Rent is cheap but not worth it at all.Highly recommend never living in this apartment complex. |

| Recent Review: | | I have been here for quite a few years, and let me tell you, the current management is the worst yet, and they have been progressively worse over the years. Getting something fixed practically requires a judicial edict, and they are constantly changing the rules without telling you. Let me explain.When I first moved in, Parking was fine and dandy, but over the years, as they've catered to more and more college students, the parking lots have become more crammed. Their solution? To tow vehicles with expired plates. It doesn't matter if you belong there, or perhaps are having a problem renewing for some reason, the criteria is, expired. Except that they don't tow all expired vehicles; just the ones that the tow company finds easy to tow. There is a vehicle parked in our lot with NO registration, and it will have been there a year come this April. There also uised to be lines in the lots, but no longer, which means that people park far enough apart that at least 10-12 spaces are taken up every night.As noted, repairs are also a problem. They tell you they will do things, and then never, ever do them. It took almost five years for them to fix holes in my exterior walls, due to a serious roof leak in 1998. They fixed the roof right away, but it took until this past fall to get them to repair my wall, which in the end they only patched. They promised me a new toilet two years ago, when they had to remove mine to root out the sewer, yet the old one is still there. Not only that, but it's not attached to the floor, because the bolt was stripped. They repaired a hole in the wall beneath my shower nozzle in the fall, as well, but they didn't fix the leak that had caused the hole in the first place, and the hole has reappeared.Several years ago, someone abandoned some cats under our building, and they have since reproduced several times, and every spring, we are greeted by the sounds of feral cats in heat and mating under our building, and the building next door.Also, they do paint, but only once, when you move in, so if you decide to move here, don't plan to stay for more than a year. Although they do require 75 days notice before you can break the lease, and the lease contains provisions for automatic renewal should you not give them proper notice. IOW, be careful when you commit to living in this place. It's cheap, but there's a reason for it. |

| Recent Review: | | I have lived at Mt Washington Apartments for almost a year and i have nothing but complaints since i have moved there.. I live in a sutdio which is nice for one person, but the first week i moved in i didn't have enough hot water to last me more then a 3min. shower, it was infested with spiders, thereis a huge leak in my ceiling, and my car was broken into.. twice... now that I have been living in these apartments nothing has been fixed except the spider issue. So the advice i have is don't move into the MT WASHINGTON APARTMENTS, save your money and look for a nice living area somewhere else!!! |

| Recent Review: | | I used to live in Baltimore as a kid, in Oaklee Village to be exact. I haven't seen the place since I was about 7 years old and I'm now 21, but as I remember, it was fairly run-down.There were cockroaches in the place all the time.A lot of low-life trashy type individuals lived there. It was pretty unsafe for a small kid.All the other kids used to play in the alley behind the apartments across the courtyard, but my mom would never let me, good thing she didn't.One year, the maintenence workers accidentally locked my cat in a shed.Talk about irresponsible and idiotic.I thought she was lost and was devastated for about 2 months, until a neighbor heard her and rescued her.That cat lived to be 16, before dying a few years ago.Anyway, I can imagine that the previous review written here is accurate, hope this one paints a "nicer" picture of the place, at least how I remember it to be. |

| Recent Review: | | I was placed in this apartment by my company.This complex has fallen short of almost all of my expectations.The only way to park is to pay 130/MO.Otherwise you have to find parking in downtown Baltimore (i.e. don't even try it).The biggest problems are with maintenance and upkeep.There is never ending construction and work being done.Sound travels the apartment very very badly.I thought they were hammering on my ceiling one afternoon.Turned out it was many many floors above me and I could even still hear it 12 floors below me.The things that really pushed me over the edge was the day they turned off my water without notifying me and entered my apartment unannounced.I was awoke to someone in my bathroom running water.The heating and air conditioning are far below par.The air conditiong was not even turned on until May.This led to many many hot days.When it was turned on it does not do the job.I have not turned mine off of 50 degrees and high since it was turned on.The one good perk of this place is that it is located nicely downtown and within walking distance of many attractions.Other than that this place has fallen far below my expectations.I have never had to file a complaint at any place I have ever lived.I have had to file many here.There are better places out there, keep looking. |
