 I was shown a 1 bedroom apartment with balcony and water view on the second floor of the complex, which is just what I needed. I paid the application fee and was told I would get a phone call when approved. The next day I went to measure the apartment to make sure my furniture would fit....The following day I learned that I was approved to move into the apartment, but they gave the apartment to a tenant that now lives in another apartment on the complex. I spoke to the manager explaining that was an unfair practice and not very business like and not good advertisement for them. I askedthat they reconsider and she assured me the existing tenant would be asked to reconsider and stay in the apartment he now lives in and wait for the next available apartment with a balcony. How can the management show an apartment, take my application fee and than tell me they gave the apartment which was shown to me to someone else???
