 When I moved to Oakcrest, I thought that I was making a good decision. However over the past 2 years, I have learned otherwise.FIRST... The apartments are old some of them have outdated kitchen and bathroom cabinets.The staff in the Business office is basically friendly, but don't every have an issue with paying your rent.Some tenants have had their payments credited to the wrong accounts and were even evicted because of Oakcrest's error.Not only that but the bookeeper is HORRIFFIC.Ms. Terry Collins is your worst nightmare.Not only that, but Section 8 residents are now allowed.There has been atleast 2 murders on the property.Car theft and vandalism is daily.To top it all off... you rent is raised EVERY year sometimes $60.00 at once.The bathrooms leak...it's just a mess!It may look like gold on the outside, but the inside is the ghetto. Intercom systems old and outdated and usually don't work.

Good Things...When you complain about a neighbor's noise, they do respond quickly...I can appreciate that.Convenient to DC and the Metro
