| Recent Review: | | When I first applied for an apartment at Lake Arbor Towers the management seemed to be courteous; however, once I moved in management showed their true colors.The behavior of onsite management and the Corporate Management Company towards me and other tenants is rude and downright nasty.They act as if they are doing us a favor by letting us stay here.Believe me, the apartments are not that great and their attitudes SUCK.Don't believe their advertisement that says they are committed to quality service, personal attention and resident satisfaction, because it is false.For instance my adult daughter and myself are leaseholders of a two-bedroom apartment.We waited for over a month for my daughter to get an access card to get onto the property, which put her safety at risk.I was given my card at the signing of the lease, but when she moved in they gave her the run around and we were given no logical explanation as to why she was treated this way.This was not because she didn't quality for one, it was because management was slow in giving her one.I had to write their Corporate Headquarters and threaten to sue to get a card for my daughter.Also, there are constant problems with the entrance and exit gates.On several occasions fire trucks and ambulances have not been able to get onto the property in a timely manner because the gates would not open.Also I was late to work twice in one week because the gates would not open.Management told me I would just have to wait and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience and that fact that I was late to work.Now I am told that there are only 2 parking passes issued per apartment.My daughter has a car, I have a car and a truck, however I cannot park my truck on the property even though there are several empty parking spaces.Management is inconsiderate and disrespectful.Also on several occasions the management has awaken us in our sleep in the middle of the night with fire alarms only to find out later that the alarm was false, after we've stood outside in the cold and waiting to enter the building.The water is shut off several times a month and sometimes the elevators don't work and you have to run down several flights of stairs depending on what floor you live on.The apartments are not worth the money you pay because the service is poor, and from what I've experienced, management including the Corporate Management Company, is rude, disrespectful, arrogant, inconsiderate and condescending.They are only interested in making profits and not your welfare.BEWARE - LAKE ARBOR TOWERS IS A NIGHTMARE.I'M LOOKING FOR ANOTHER PLACE AS SOON AS MY LEASE ENDS IN SEPTEMBER. |
