| Recent Review: | | I moved into this apartment within the last month and am extremely pleased with my decision. The only downside I can see so far is price, but everything in this area of Rockville is overpriced. TIP: Ask about renting specials, and you can get a pretty good deal. The apartments are very spacious with 9 ft. ceilings, crown moulding, and a nice light tan color on the walls which is much nicer than white. The management staff seems very competent--which is a relief from other places I've lived--although the dishwasher did not work when I first moved in, it was fixed by noon the next day! You are able to access the gym 24 hours a day, unlike some other gyms in the area. Also, I have not seen any shady characters for neighbors.A couple things to note: my apartment is right above three garages, where the cars pulling in and out make noise, but I never have to worry about hearing the neighbors below me. The noise from the garage is slightly annoying. However, there is a dog that lives above me yet I have never heard it (only seen it), and I never hear the neighbors above which leads me to believe the insulation is good. Also, the pool is pretty small and shallow (only 3 feet total I think, but am not sure) -- which is kind of disappointing.Other than that, this community is a nice place to live and I highly recommend it. |

| Recent Review: | | There is a small of marijuana in the buildings, as people smoke and drink in the back stairwells.Some apartments have up to 10-15 tenants living in them (in a 1240 square foot apartment in buildings I, H and J).Children run the streets at all hours of the night, as young as 2.They refuse to move out of the road for incoming or exiting vehicles and may one day cause a serous accident.Drug dealers live in building 2012, right above management, and several tenants have witnessed drug deals at various times during the day.The maintenance staff is outstanding.They respond quickly and are very courteous, but then there is the office staff.You are asked to deal with all problems yourself, like the smell of marijuana throughout the buildings, the neighbors radio so loud it causes pictures to fall off your wall,the neighbors above you so loud (at all hours of the night) you are unable to sleep.The only advice the office manager will give is to knock on your neighbors door and talk with them.Don't expect to have any major repair work done on the building either.Floors are thin and furniture moves when you walk past it.You can hear everything your neighbor above you is doing by all the sounds, washer/ dryer running, using the restroom, taking a shower, rolling over in bed, rocking in their chairs in the front room.No matter how quiet they might try to be, you can hear everything!Several complaints have been made, but no action is ever taken.It's a shame that renters like myself, who pay thier rent on-time or even before it's due, must put up with rude and indescent behavior.Although the convenience of being so close to the elementary, middle and high school is great, the neighbors aren't.Unless you like the smell of pot, lots of loud Mexican music, kids refusing to let you drive down the road, and yelling at the office staff since they are uncooperative, then this is the perfect place for you.Good luck! |

| Recent Review: | | i've lived here for two years, not becuase i thought this place was a nice place to live, but out of convenience.i live directly across from the metro, and about a 2 minute drive from 270.the location is GREAT, and can't really be beat.the place is maintained very well, and is clean..sadly, those are the only positive thing i can say about the place.the management is a joke.literally, every time i go down to the business center to pick up a package, they have new people working there.seems like everyone is fired or just leaves.they honestly have no clue what they're doing, and could very much care less for their job, or to the tenants.the maintenance is close to nonexistent, and fails to even return simple phone calls.my fridge has been leaking since i moved in.i've called twice, both times, they failed to even return my phone calls, so i'm living with a leaking fridge.i used to pay 1280 for a single bedroom in king farm, and now pay close to 1600 for a 3 bedroom.the walls are paper thin.. and in fact someone filed a police report because of the sex i was having (she wasnt even that loud).if you are desperate for a good location, this is the place to move into..just don't expect respectable service...they really don't give a shit about their tenants.oh another gripe.the gym closes at 11, and only has machines.their free weights go up to 50 lbs, and it is VERY POORLY VENTILATED.the ac barely works in there. |

| Recent Review: | | The Pavillion has a spectacular location, I'll give it that.But from there it goes swiftly downhill.The management has one particular woman on staff who consistently forgets things, sends other peoples mail to you, sends your copies of documents like your lease to the wrong apartment, and is rude when you try to fix these mistakes.The apartment complex runs the climate controls for each apartment, so expect to be cold the first few weeks of winter and baking hot the first few weeks of summer.They are redoing the parking garage, so they've moved people outside into the visitor parking, resulting in 12 spaces for all visitors and residents who don't pay for indoor parking.The security system on the doors is always broken, resulting in residents getting stuck outside, most often when the concierge isn't around.The fire alarms are ear-piercingly-shrill and have been known to break and go off all night long.The elevators are always under construction, resulting in the apartment's large elderly population walking up the 16 flights to their homes.For the amount of money you would pay to live in the Pavillion (about 1450 a month for a one bedroom), I would expect a lot more.The rest of the staff is wonderful and the gentlemen that run the shuttle are truly kind and thoughtful.The concierges, when on shift, are nice and helpful, and the maintenance team is usually top notch.It's a shame management would prefer to have an attractive lobby to a building that meets residents' expectations. |

| Recent Review: | | I would like to inform that security is a major concern in this apartment complex after there is change in the management of the leasing office. There is a burglary in my apartment when my family is out of country. I lost my laptop computer, Sony play station and DVDs and Play station games. We reported this matter to the police and a case has been filed about the theft.I would also like to mention that when we were out of country, the maintenance staff entered into my apartment for some repairs in the kitchen and they did not left a note after the repairs. The matter is reported to the leasing office and they failed to give a written explanation about the repairs and the reason for not leaving a note in the apartment after repairs. When we returned to our apartment after vacation, it is observed that the balcony glass door was unlocked and the foot mats in the kitchen are hanged in the balcony. It clearly shows the failure of security management in the apartment complex. Around $3000 worth of items was stolen from the apartment. |

| Recent Review: | | I've lived here for two years and have to say I've had a good experience.The price is reasonable for the area, and it's surrounded by parkland which is very peaceful.The tenants are mostly families, although on rare occasions I've seen some shady characters around.The walls are thin, but you won't notice unless you have a noisy neighbor.Maintenance and management have been very responsive, and problems get fixed within a day or two.There are kids who play in the street and a few who don't move for cars.The apartments are a little run down, but have no bugs. |
