| Recent Review: | | If you are looking for something for one year, go for it. This place was nice and clean, my first year here. When I tried to get another apartment in the same building (going from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedrrom), things started to go downhill. First I was told I wouldn't like the apartment I was going to move into because it was on the ground level and had no balcony. When I said that would be okay, my information was "entered" into the computer. Fast forward to 1 week before move out, after having on two separate dates going into the rental office and asking if they wanted me to sign or pay my deposit and being told NO to come in one day before my current lease expires to sign a new one, I call to ask if I can sign my lease on the 27th of May as opposed to the 30th of May (my move out date was the 31st...but I was only moving over one building). I get the lovely news that my new apartment has already been rented out and someone is currently living there. Strange how a place where I've gone every month to pay my rent and had seen me numerous times in the last two months completely forgot that I was going to move in. Blaming it on a person who "no longer works here" is unacceptable. This place is shady dealings, ups the rent and is threatening to make everyone pay a monthly water bill because it's up to much...instead of looking into why (i.e. checking apartments for leaks).I called about a leaking toliet and nothing was done for over a week! No wonder your bills are so high, Parkwood. Get some maintenance and answer calls in a timely fashion, instead of threatening your tenants.Neighbors are nice, but bad with cleaning up after pets. Numerous times have I stepped into dog feces on the sidewalks. The only thing said about it is a paragraph in the monthly "newsletter" about picking |

| Recent Review: | | If you are looking to rent an apartment, please do not rent here. The maintenance is terrible, sometimes taking MONTHS (literally) to fix urgent problems. They have recently been sued by 3 tenants for maintenance issues that caused serious injuries. The management/office staff, at best is ignorant and incompetent. They also recently had to condemn two apartments for over a year to clean up dangerous mold. People are getting very sick from it, including a pregnant woman. If you would like to live somewhere that will remind you of the worst of all ghettos, somewhere that has rubbish, including thrown-out furniture, lying everywhere, and want to say goodbye to peaceful nights, then go ahead and apply. By the way.... you don't have to wonder why they have security alarms in each apartment; get a crime stat. report from the Salisbury police.... it tells of rape, assault, and burglary.... I could go on and on. |
